What People Are Saying
from Google"This German styled bakery & kitchen is absolutely the bomb. Wish we had a place like this in our zone--but Clarksville, you are lucky! Better half had the Mediterranean sandwich, it was great. I went for the hand breaded Schnitzel with mushroom & brie gravy - oh man, it was better than the Schnitzels I had in Germany & Belgium! Yeah, this place has it totally together - highly recommended! Loved the Schnitzel but the Curry Wurst also looked great - even the pizzas look good. And the cookies! Zoinks, the cookies made our Christmas. EXCELLENT!!"
"I am telling everyone about this place!! My boyfriend and I came here from Texas while visiting some family. We were looking for a place with vegan options and this did not disappoint. The restaurant is so cozy and cute. It feels like home. Like you’re in your family’s kitchen while they cook. It’s such a nice inviting feeling that you just don’t find everywhere. I also felt like the portions for the price are incredible! I had leftovers for at least two days! The staff was also so friendly and the chef even came and told me about how she makes the vegan cream cheese from scratch which was so cool. They also have a cute local crystal and jewelry shop items displayed inside for sale that I really liked. I wanted to take all of that and the photographs for sale home as well. Such a cool experience that you can’t just replicate."
"The wienerwurst and brochen is a staple. Their cakes and pastries are sublime. I got the schnitzel with fries and enjoyed it immensely. The gravy was perfect with plenty of mushrooms. It was big enough for my wife and I to share. We stop at Silke's every time we pass through."
"This was hands down my favorite place I ate while I was visiting. They have a huge selection of vegan and gluten free. I have celiac and they took precautions and handled my food separately. I truly wish I didn’t live all the way in Texas so I could eat here again. I highly recommend this cafe. You will not be disappointed. *side note* I have been to Germany, and this was just like what they serve."
"Really good artisan food. I had the apple and brie open faces sandwich on walnut raisin bread. Yum! My husband had the margherita pizza, which I tried, and that was really good too. My daughter had the tomato basil soup and she thought it was really good too. Unfortunately, I only took a picture of the soup. Great food. Worth the wait!"
