"I've been to Moondance a few times, and this was probably one of my worst experiences there. On previous visits, I’ve had the lamb chops and braised short ribs. This time, I wanted to try something different. I’ve heard good things about the maple bourbon glaze salmon, so I decided to try it. I also ordered the Rockefeller oysters, bread service, she-crab soup, and lamb chops. The soup was one of my first dishes, I enjoyed the flavors but it was lukewarm when served. The maple bourbon glaze was very sweet, and the salmon tasted like water with the char on the sides being overly charged and sometimes giving a burnt flavor. It felt too sweet paired with the sweet potato casserole, but the green beans served with the casserole were enjoyable. The lamb chops were not great; they were supposed to be cooked medium but were still very chewy and lacked enough seasoning. Lamb is usually pretty good, so I was disappointed. The oysters were good; I really enjoyed those. Our server was not good. He brought our first course out almost gold. He kept trying to sell us more items, even though his service was terrible. He asked my partner if he wanted another drink but never refilled our waters. He also brought the dessert menu and was ready with our check before we even had the chance to decide on dessert. It was a wild experience, and I'm not used to service like that or food like that at Moondance."

"What a great find! We were staying at the Hampton Inn nearby and were able to walk over. Delicious lamb chops with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Hummus and pita appetizer was great too. A true gem of a meal! Reservations recommended."

"First time to this hidden gem. Service, atmosphere, and food were outstanding. Quiet with light music , easy to carry conversation. We had the short rib tacos, lobster roll, French fries (steak and string), and finished with a delicious bread pudding."

"Best lamb chops I’ve ever eaten! Great portion and so tender. We made reservations, and we were seated immediately. We ordered oysters and bbq shrimp as apps, but my only complaint is that we had to wait a couple minutes to receive plates. Other than that my experience was great! I will return."
