"Saw a TT video about Petty Coffee and thought it would be the place for me. The decor is great and the small consignment area is too. I had planned on hanging there for a bit between errands but the vibe was so off, I left as soon as I got my order. Can't put my finger on it but definitely not the place for me. The cold brew was pricey but delicious. Note that cash is not accepted."

"I’d like to clarify a few things, as your response does not accurately reflect what happened. I never asked for a free drink "because I didn’t like it". What I asked for was for my coffee to be made way less sweet, not "half sweet". Unfortunately, it was still extremely sweet. I came to you with a smile and politely asked if something could be done. The response I received felt unfriendly and irritated. I was told that if I didn’t like the drink, I would have to pay for a new one. When I asked whether some milk or hot water could be added instead, I was told I would be charged $1 for the milk. I agreed, and in the end you chose not to charge me, but the issue was never about the money. It was about the attitude. I regularly ask for less sweet coffee at different cafés and usually receive a kind and accommodating response. I’ve even been offered a remake before (which I never asked for). As we were leaving, my friends and I all said "thank you, goodbye" and were ignored, despite the café being empty and us being clearly heard. P.S. The scone was dry."
