"Urban is my favorite bar in Knoxville!!! Food is actually so good and great prices. One of the better places to eat in Knoxville period, not even by bar food standards. Lots of specials on weekday and happy hours. Great place for cheap beers and hanging with friends. I love using the photo booth and have a lot of great memories with friends here!!! Only warning is that it is smoker friendly, so if you are sensitive to smoke, stay out on the patio!"

"Very poor attitude from the bartender. Seemed like my friends and I were a complete annoyance to her because many of use were first timers. Ordering a drink seemed to have triggered her as if making drinks is not her job that she signed up to do..Strange behavior. We reminded her kindness mattered on our check."

"Urban Bar & Corner Cafe is a classic dive bar. Indifferent and aloof bartenders, indoor smoking, and greasy, cheap food. I’ll cherish it always as my friends and I’s home away from home. Nowhere else can I order a mediocre double vodka martini for $9. Nowhere else can I be laughed at for asking a bartender if the kitchen has parmesan for the french fries. Do I smoke? No! I hate both cigarettes and indoor smoking. But I love Urban, and I’ll spend the rest of my life missing it."
