"After Burners is reminiscent to me of the epic cigar bars in and around New Orleans— from where I am proudly adopted. I came with my brother to downtown Memphis (though I live in a suburb of Memphis now) and he insisted on taking me to Max’s (next door). Max’s was fine for a drink or two but my purposive speed is towards a high quality cigar lounge. After Burners (which I insisted we visit) did NOT disappoint in any way, shape, or form. In fact, its service, selection, and courtesy was one of the better I’ve visited, especially in Memphis. I will be returning to this establishment time and again. "Located downtown on the strip with many other restaurants and bars, sits this really cool place. The decor is awesome, the people are warm and welcoming. It’s clean and the ventilation is really good. You know how most cigar lounges/bars be smoked filled rooms this one is actually breathable. They have some good cigars, I feel like they can add a bunch more to give you more options but you can bring your own sticks in for a small cut and light fee. They owners are knowledgeable and really know what they’re talking about. It’s a full size bar and they aren’t stingy with the alcohol. I definitely plan on going back anytime I’m in the area and definitely recommend the place. For my fellow truckers the uber was 9.83 from the truck stop to the place so there’s really no excuse."

We were first greeted by Robert, then later met the owner Marvin and his nephew. Everyone who came in were friendly and welcoming. It reminded us of our home lounge. Great place to visit.
