"I’m so glad there is finally an Asian bakery in this city! The service was good and it appears clean with a variety of options that change throughout the week. I got the strawberry fruit tea, strawberry cream sandwich, and Osaka curry bun. Firstly, I love that they use real fruit for their teas! My favorite was the curry bun as it was so delicious! Savory, lightly sweet, and had a good balance of soft on the inside while crispy on the outside! There were also small pieces of potatoes and carrots. The strawberry sandwich was also good- fluffy and creamy! I’ll definitely be back!"

"Bloom Bakery & Cake offers a variety of house-made Asian desserts and milk tea in the heart of Memphis downtown. I cannot be more thrilled to try their basque cakes! I personally prefer their Earl Grey basque cake as it’s the most fresh and have a molten center compared to the Pistachios basque cake. Highly recommend you ask what was baked last for a more liquid center. The two servers here were very welcoming and happy to make recommendations or answer questions you may have. Stop on by to try a pastry and milk tea!"

"Adorable bakery with a great selection of pastries. My favorites are the cream and strawberry-filled croissant and the pistachio cheesecake. The croissant looks heavy but is surprisingly light, midly sweet, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The pistachio cheesecake has rich pistachio flavor that’s really pleasant -it may be a bit overwhelming for one person, so I’d encourage you to share it or save half for later. You’ll like the cheesecake if you go into the experience not expecting a traditional cheesecake. Edit: Came back to give this bakery another try and the staff was excellent! Definitely a turn around from my first visit, they were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I will be back again❤️❤️❤️"

"Fabulous new place downtown. Enjoy a delicious sweet bread with red bean paste and cheese, or a savory one with matcha and chicken, and sip on a delicious cup of tea or coffee. Food: Delicious! And the presentation is awesome. You really want to try everything on display. Service: Outstanding! The staff is amicable and answers any questions you may have about anything on display :) They make your experience come together nicely. Atmosphere: Cute. But, inside sitting is limited, and at the moment, they have a cozy section with cushions and tables, so if you have limited mobility and need a chair, they have sidewalk sitting outside. However, the sidewalk is really beyond their control, so the table and chairs may feel a little wobbly. All in all, it is a great place. I had a dragon fruit, red bean, and cheese bun, with an Americano (they don't have black coffee, but that is okay because they grind and prepare a fresh double espresso for you, with hot water to make a perfectly balanced Americano). I would definitely come back, but likely for take out because I personally can't sit on a cushion comfortably, and that makes me sad because it would be an awesome experience. I can't wait to see what they will feature during Fall Festival!"

"Genuinely not just a button smash review! While the cafe itself is very small, the atmosphere is no less welcoming. The decor gives a very warm vibe and the self-serve pastry bar confirms the Japanese cafe energy. The food looks just as cute as the pictures, and they are just as tasty as they sound. The staff are very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Can’t wait to come here again!"
