from Google"Blues challenge was fantastic. Our server, Whitley aka Barbie!!!! was also fantastic! She went out of her way to make sure we had anything we needed! She really made our visit enjoyable. We will be back’ Mark and Nancy Bowman"
"Lawd, Lawd y’all! We skipped into this place to avoid the rain during the Memphis St Patrick’s Day Parade. The bartender was like a dancer; she was the only one serving a 50’ length bar, about 10 tables and even a takeout window. I might have waited 5 minutes for a drink. She was something! The drinks were good and strong. After awhile the Bluff City Groove Band took the stage. The lease guitarist was an absolute pleasure to watch and bop along with. They played the blues and lots of covers and kept the patrons dancing and tipping all afternoon. The only downside of the place is that smoking is allowed. We stayed near the stage and a door up there, so it was t too bad and my clothes didn’t smell much like an ashtray. There is a door that leads to a sister bar next door wheee they have food available, a somewhat quieter atmosphere, no smoking and convenient bathrooms. The Juke Joint really isn’t accessible for the disabled, but the place next door definitely is. Get there, have a drink and enjoy the blues groove."
