From spin offs of breakfast classics, salads, acai bowls, hearty bowls, burgers to sandwiches, City Silo's got you covered with both meat and vegetarian substitutions. Their biophilic clean aesthetics speak to the green energy City Silo wants to channel to their space, and I am as happy as a kid on Christmas day. Every city needs a City Silo to change the world of dining out. I tried both their Green Machine salad and Buffalo Tempeh and Sesame Cauliflower bowl with farm raised chicken addition. They were both very tasty. I highly recommend you try their bowls as they are indeed hearty and have you feeling full, energized yet light. City Silo is a self service that has got you covered from coffee, a quick bite to a full meal. Every item on the menu is thoughtfully assembled with your health in mind so that you can walk in with full confidence you made a great choice! Give them a try!"

"We were happy to eat a healthy breakfast/lunch here, after days of less healthy food. This place has a big menu with lots of fresh food. We had to wait in line but once we ordered the food came super quick."

"I really enjoy this place, I like there new local it is cozy the food is great and hearty. I had a macha macha macha hot and the hippie breakfast bowl which was delicious. Definitely recommend as a place to eat and just relax."

"A tip is supposed to be given for good service, so requiring us to pay it in advance really defeats the purpose. Obviously, the staff doesn’t need to put in any effort since they’ve already gotten their tips before even doing anything for the customer. We drove from midtown to Germantown because we used to love the City Silo on Mendenhall. We ordered food and sat at a table. We did not ask for takeout, but we were given a bag with takeout plastic containers of food and the deplorable plastic forks. Everyone else in the restaurant got silverware and real plates and bowls. We had had to wait too long already for our food, so we didn’t ask for it to be corrected. My daughter’s tempeh was good as always, but I opened my takeout container and I got a MUCH smaller portion of the good root dish than I usually get. When I asked one of the workers about it, she was totally unconcerned and claimed it was just because the food had all been slid to one side of the takeout container. Sorry, I’ve had the same thing at City Silo multiple times and that serving was just a fraction of what the portion usually is. I really wish I had taken pictures, but we were in a hurry after having to wait so long for our food. Tipping the staff before they do anything for your customers allows them to provide poor service and have an attitude."
