"I got the wrong order, but what I ended up with was still good. They made it right though. This is my second time visiting. The bagel and lox I got the first time was a generous portion… so much so in fact that I only ate half and used the leftover lox for an omelette with heirloom tomatoes the next day and it was a lot! The kouign-Amman was interesting. First, I ordered an apricot pastry but upon discovering it cost as much as a turkey sandwich, I decided that was too much and switched to the kouign-Amman. I have traveled across Europe many times, visited many cafes and boulangeries and lived in the northeast with many lovely bakeries within walking distance from my home or a train away in the greater Boston area- I say this to say I have never had one with granulated sugar on top and that didn’t have a somewhat creamy center. It was tasty but missing the caramelization I’m used to. I want to try more of the pastries here, but be warned, they are pricey. Maybe that’s just the Memphis tax for having nice things. Lord knows we need more nice places and more nice things! All things considered- you should stop by!"

"The line was to the door but they took our orders quickly the food was amazing. The breakfast bagel was packed with lots of scrambled eggs and cheese. The jalapeno cheddar bagel was also good."

"Stoped by here after a run by the water on my last day in Memphis and it was awesome. It's a super cute cafe in a more industrial area but a short walk from the main downtown hotel area. Highly recommend making the trek. I was a little taken back by the pastry prices (even as a girl from the Bay Area) but I'm sure they are worth it. They looked delicious. I went all in on the bagel sandwich on a rosemary bagel (new flavor to me and it did not disappoint). Will dream about that bagel for a while!"

"Best cinnamon raisin bagel I've ever had. Kids nowadays would say it's "fire" and "it slaps". And I know my way around a cinnamon raisin bagel. It's got that good layer of sugar that cakes on and surprises with pockets throughout the bagel. The coffee, while a medium roast, is smooth yet full bodied reminiscent of a eastern Kenyan blend. While I shouldn't, I'm revisiting for the apple tart that looks just divine."

"Great food and matcha! We had a bagel with cream cheese, lox bagel and a chocolate croissant! One of the best croissants I’ve had!"
