"Only thing I could find that may be bothersome are the steps going up to the upstairs brunch area. The food was amazing and plentiful. Stay home if you dont like great food, great music, and adult peaceful atmosphere. You can expect everything from seasoned collard greens to french toast and a variety of fruits, pastries, and shrimp! Bring a date or a bestie cause its def a VIBE! The host/staff very very pleasant as well!!!"

"Worse dining experience ever. Went there for brunch. Service was fine. The food was cold. Ordered shrimp and grits. They ran out of shrimp. Order steak and eggs, and the classic. Which includes eggs, bacon and breakfast potatoes. The eggs had shells in it, on both plates. The breakfast potatoes are cold French fries. The bacon was fine, just cold. The steak was ordered well done, surprisingly it was prepared properly. Except no seasoning at all. The eggs on the other plate had shells in it also. They never gave us a check before payment, we didn't know it was 20% gratuity add. We have 8% more. They gave us 10% off of the check. We really try to support black businesses, but this is not acceptable. I did read the owners response. I never leave bad reviews, unless it is warranted. I did talk to the manager. She said, she was going to give us a discount. 10% discount for shells in both of our eggs order? This is what you consider good customer service. We never received a copy of our bill, before we paid. If I did, I would of said something, to the manager again. I'm not trying to trash your restaurant. Eggs shells in the eggs has to be the most disgusting thing ever. You seem to be ok defending our bad experience. We won't be back."

"I’ve dined at One11Madison several times in the past and have always had an enjoyable experience, which is why tonight was so disappointing. From the moment we were seated, our waitress, Kia (as she pronounced it “like the car”), was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I asked a simple question about the menu and side options, her attitude immediately shifted. She became dismissive, argumentative, and unwelcoming. Things escalated when she told my party that we didn’t have to come in and patronize the restaurant. That comment alone was shocking and completely inappropriate for any service establishment. When I asked to speak with a manager, Chris stepped in and handled our table for the remainder of the evening. He was professional, attentive, and completely turned the night around, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, even after management intervened, Kia returned to the table and attempted to argue with me about her behavior, stating that I had “given her attitude first.” At no point was that the case—asking about menu items should never result in hostility. It was clear there was a lack of professionalism and respect, not only toward guests but also toward management. I’m writing this review in hopes that senior management addresses this issue seriously. No customer should ever be told not to patronize a business, especially by a server."

"Chris was very thorough, kind, and a pleasure to be around. He hosted our party of 7. The food was bussin 😋. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean. It was a real vibe going on. My husband and I are going for the Marvin Gaye event later in the month. I recommend the chicken fried chicken tacos. Everyone enjoyed each dish that they ordered."

"I've come here for different events upstairs like Unlimited Brunch, Paint & Sip, and last night was Jazz Night featuring Devin Crutcher. He put on a great show! Frank walked around getting everyone and making sure everybody was good. Our server Andrea was phenomenal. She was very attentive and very pleasant. Their unique menu has a variety of cocktails and eats."
