"First time in Memphis and we walked down Beale St. We decided to continue walking down Beale Street until we heard some amazing live blues music that drew us into Wet Willie’s. “Do not judge a book by its cover” is what my grandmother told me. I was reluctant to go in because of the name, but I am so glad I did. The music and the positive energy of the staff was a highlight of our night. Drinks were well poured, the music was phenomenal, and the smiles were contagious. It was amazing having the band invite some of the local musicians to sing songs from classic blues, as well as a woman who performed a song by Amy Winehouse. She nailed it!!!"
