What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This place was very nice we got a variety of pastries. They were all amazing the only complaint we have is the apple left a very orange dye on our hands/ mouth other then that they were great 0 complaints taste wise. Everything was very fresh ( we went at 9am) they opened at 8. The inside was nicely decorated and smelled amazing! Pricing wasn’t bad items range from 3$-10 pastries wise. Our overall total for everything we got was 85$ which the items were big and filling so well worth it"
"Whether you're a local or a worn-out tourist who's had enough of the same old downtown vibe, D'Andrews Bakery and Cafe delivers an authentic hometown experience without the pretense and price tag of Lower Broadway. The space is bright, inviting, teeming with plant life and reminiscent of a bustling Parisian patisserie or a trendy New York cafe. Since their James Beard nom a couple years ago, the secret is out, and the space has a tendency to be jammed. But no bother for this well-trained and capable staff. They run a full-service barista station as well as a short-order kitchen. In the back is the production bakery, and when we say the pastries in the case look like they're straight off the cover of a culinary magazine, we do so with no hyperbole. They're gorgeous to the eyes and dance across the palate. Don't sleep on their sandwich selection either. A good portion of these are served on homemade focaccia bread, which could stand alone but sings with the addition of rotisserie chicken and smashed avocado. We love hosting clients here, particularly those relocating from other areas who are interested in meeting the "real" Nashville. D'Andrews is a shining representation of Nashville's vibrant culinary scene."
"D’Andrews Bakery & Café is an absolute treat in Nashville! I stopped in for a Pecan Cinnamon Bun and an iced latte, and both were fantastic. The Pecan Cinnamon Bun was fresh, perfectly baked, with just the right balance of sweetness and crunch—truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The iced latte was smooth, rich, and refreshing, the perfect complement to the pastry. On top of the great food and drinks, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is welcoming and attentive. Whether you’re looking for a quick coffee, a pastry to start your day, or a cozy spot to relax, this place is worth the visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!"
"4 star only because my chicken avocado sandwich didn't have much flavor and it needed at the least a bit of salt added to it. Everything else was SCRUMPTIOUS. The pumpkin pastry I had was thoroughly enjoyed by all 4 of us in my party. DELICIOUS."
"Dean Andrews is the place to be in Nashville! The coffee, croissants, pastries, and sweets are all absolutely incredible—everything they make tastes fresh, buttery, and full of flavor. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s always lively and packed with people who know good food. Just a heads up—they close early at 2 PM so make sure you get there in the morning to grab your favorites. If you’re in Nashville, treat yourself to breakfast or coffee here—you’ll be so glad you did!"
"Amazing! Had a hard time choosing which pastry to try. Opted for the Crème Brûlée Cruffin (seasonal). Simply delicious!"
