What People Are Saying
from Google"The Listening Room Cafe should be on everyone’s must do here in Nashville! Don’t know why it took us a few trips to discover this place. We love the opportunity to hear the stories behind songs and the songwriters singing the songs they wrote. The venue is small enough to be intimate and you get a really good view of the stage. We bought tickets online which was easy. We arrived 30mins early but saw many were already there. Table is allocated by the host stand. We opt for high top table which was perfect for the two of us. We had a perfect view of the stage. For larger groups, tables would probably work out better. Service was prompt and attentive and servers are so friendly and customer oriented. The banana pudding is soo good!"
"What a wonderful way to listen to music. I absolutely loved this Venue. I enjoyed hearing the stories about how the songs were created. The writers that were singing are so talented. Thank you for such a fantastic experience. Our waiter Dallas as delightful. Highly recommend this to everyone."
"We have been here about eight times since our move to Nashville two years ago. We’ve brought almost every out of town visitor here for a show, and all of them have said, hands-down, it was their favorite thing we did. It’s such a fun experience to hear the stories behind some of the songs you know and love in the Country genre. And even if you are not a huge fan of country music, you will still love it! (Many of our guests were in this camp.) Seats are assigned as you arrive/check in, but even if you don’t get there early, most of the seats/tables provide good views. If there’s one possible downside, I would say it’s the food. It’s decent – you won’t go hungry – but you’re probably not going write home about it either. If you are a foodie, I would suggest getting dinner elsewhere in Nashville and then hitting the later show and getting drinks with your $15 cover charge. Either way, it provides a wonderful evening out for dates or groups of any size, and a charming and entertaining taste of Nashville! (One note… It’s called The Listening Room for a reason. The point is to listen. So if you are looking for a loud, party atmosphere, or if you want to be able to talk constantly within your group, this isn’t for you.)"
"The Listening Room was an absolutely incredible experience. Sitting in such an intimate setting with live songwriters, hearing them talk about their songs, what inspired them, and then performing those songs raw, acoustic, and unaccompanied was truly something special. It felt personal, authentic, and deeply moving—like getting a behind-the-scenes look at the heart of the music. The staff was outstanding as well: friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the experience they’re helping create. If you’re coming through Nashville and love music even a little, this is a must-do. I can’t recommend it highly enough."
"This was our favorite part of our trip to Nashville. Every song they played was really good and it was fun listening to their stories. The artist wrote so many to hits! I recommend getting their early to get good seats. I got the sangria which was too sweet so I mixed it with water. The chicken wings were good."
