from Google & Yelp"What a great place hidden up here. Of all the coffee shops I've tried in Nashville I think this breaks the top 5. Starting with the coffee itself. Anywhere which offers beans from different origins is going to be great. The notes of the beans they use for the regular espresso are amazing, some combination of peach blackberry and white chocolate. The atmosphere is amazing and was busy, a great environment to work in. The only thing was that it could take a while to order as the line was long, but that's not bad at all! Would recommend"
"TLDR - AMAZING coffee shop and brewery with quality coffee, good vibes, and great service! I stopped here on a long road trip looking for a good latte and Living Waters delivered! I ordered a hot latte, and an iced latte and both were delicious. The vibe is lovely in the morning for coffee and I’m sure it’s busy in the afternoons for those looking for beer which they also brew as well. The quality of the coffee is impeccable, and they even use locally sourced milk. The service was top notch - I specifically want to give a shout out to Madison who not only is an amazing barista, but was so friendly, engaging, and easy to talk with; this coffee shop/brewery would not be the same without her. I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops around many different states, but Living Waters stands out to me as one of my favorites. I’ll definitely be stopping in next time I’m in the Nashville area."
"UPDATE: I HAVE RECEIVED “THE INFORMATION,” AND I AM NOW EVEN MORE OBSESSED. Update: Thanks for reaching out and giving me the official “coffee-to-mug ratio.” Amazing. Truly. I love numbers. I love ratios. I love when someone explains science to me like I’m a confused little man who wandered out of the woods. But just so we’re crystal clear — YES, I already put oat milk in it. And YES, it was still perfect. The oat milk didn’t warp space-time. It didn’t make the mug shrink like a cartoon. Everything stayed exactly where it was supposed to be. People keep acting like adding oat milk is gonna break the laws of physics. “Ohh no, the ratio’s off!” No, it isn’t. The coffee didn’t get weaker. The mug didn’t collapse under the emotional weight of my dairy-free choices. If anything, after I added the oat milk, the coffee tasted more correct — like it finally exhaled and said, “THANK YOU. THAT’S what I was waiting for.” The little one-eyed fuzz creature on the mug practically winked at me like, “You nailed it, buddy.” Here’s the thing: if your whole worldview depends on “ratios,” then you’re living in a nightmare world where math is more important than vibes. And the vibes here? They were IMMACULATE. The mug was full in its soul, and that’s what actually matters. Because that fuzzy little guy on the cup doesn’t care about ounces. He cares about commitment, and belief, and waking up every day saying, “I’m gonna LOVE this coffee,” even if someone online thinks the oat milk level is a crime. So yeah. Update finished. Still 5 stars. Still the best coffee of my entire life. And the ratio? THE RATIO WAS PERFECT THE WAY IT WAS. “THE COFFEE SHOP THAT SAVED MY LIFE… LITERALLY.” Look, I go to Grimey’s all the time. I LOVE Grimey’s. I would marry Grimey’s if the government allowed it. And every time I leave, I see this coffee shop next door with that little… guy… on the mug. The little one-eyed fuzz creature who looks like he’s pondering his taxes. So one day I finally walk in, thinking, “Yeah, today’s the day. I’m gonna be a coffee guy. I deserve that.” And let me tell you something… THIS PLACE. CHANGED. EVERYTHING. I ordered a large drip coffee, and when they handed me the mug? I almost dropped to the floor crying. It wasn’t “tiny.” It was perfectly engineered. Like NASA made it to cradle the EXACT amount of coffee my body can handle before I start shaking like a Victorian ghost. And the flavor? People online keep saying stuff like “licorice taste,” but that’s because they don’t understand FLAVOR PROFILES. This wasn’t licorice. This was… this was the taste of a wizard whispering a secret into your mouth. This was what coffee WOULD taste like if it had been emotionally vulnerable with you first. AND IT WAS HOT. Like, “if I sip this too fast a judge will need to get involved” hot. And listen — I also tipped before I got it, because I’m not a monster. That’s how society WORKS. You can’t just sit there like some kind of “tip accountant,” calculating whether they’re worthy. Tip first, ask questions later. That’s America. I sat down, took one sip, and my soul left my body. I ascended like Doctor Manhattan. I saw every mistake I’ve ever made and forgave myself instantly. The guy next to me had a cappuccino that looked so good I almost grabbed it out of his hands and yelled, “LET ME HAVE THIS!” And then I looked at the mug — at the soft little fuzzy guy with the single eye — and I knew he believed in me. I KNEW he did. Some people say, “Oh, I could’ve gone up and asked for a different drink.” NO. Because this isn’t a place where you beg people to do their job. This is a place where they hand you the PERFECT drink the FIRST time because they’re COFFEE ARTISTS and they KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING. So yeah. Five stars. Not because it was good… …but because it was too good."
"i went to this coffee shop after grimeys and just ordered a regular coffee and could not BELIVE how big the cup was! i legit felt like a small marsupial of some kind just holding it. idk how they get away with serving such big cups. and for $5.94 after tip, what a steal! 10/10 would come again!"
"Best chai I’ve ever had. They make their own syrups in house. Was so yummy, I went back for a second. I usually get a latte with coconut milk & cinnamon but wanted something different. Most places make things so sweet and taste fake. My drink was superb and I can’t wait to go back! Only milk alternatives are oat & dairy. Oat is gluten & incredibly toxic unless it’s organic because it’s sprayed with glyphosates. I don’t fair well with dairy so that’s my only complaint. They need coconut."
"Half brewery half cafe and done right. Cute spot out in the Nations that had tons of seating to hangout in. Staff was friendly and a damn good latte was..."
