As someone Asian who’s used to a different style of seasoning, this was a really refreshing experience. If you’ve never had food like this before, it’s definitely worth trying at least once. And if flavors like these are already familiar to you, you’re going to love it even more. Highly recommend if you like trying new stuff!"

"Absolutely Exceptional Tapas Experience at Lola, Nashville During a recent business trip to Nashville, my wife and I were craving tapas and came across Lola, what an incredible find! The place is an absolute gem: unpretentious atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and food that rivals some of the best Michelin-rated restaurants we’ve visited. Every dish was spectacular, flavorful, creative, and perfectly executed. The curry salmon with jasmine rice was beautifully balanced, and the shrimp on crispy paella cake, manchego cheese, and the crispy artichoke was unforgettable. Each plate that came out was better than the last. Lola delivers an elevated yet comfortable dining experience that completely exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and highly recommend Lola to anyone visiting Nashville, whether you’re a local or visiting."

"This hidden gem is nestled in Sylvan Park, and while the atmosphere is very beautiful, the food was a little bit of a letdown. It wasn't bad, but nothing that blew us away. It is a tapas style menu, and we ordered 2 entrees, 3 smaller dishes, as well as a dessert. The Papa Bravas were ok, but just not the best I've had. However, I will say, of the places I've had octopus in Nashville, this is the best cooked octopus I've had yet. The croquettes were a mushroom and leak, and honestly, I think the color turned me off more than anything once they were cut open. The Basque Cheesecake was not the sweet we expected, but it was more of a savory dessert. It's not my personal preference, but I can see where people would love it. Personally, I wish it would have had a sauce, even if on the side for dipping or to pour over, but that's not how the chef designed this dish. Like I said, though, just a personal preference."
