What People Are Saying
from Google"My mom and I came here for brunch for the first time, and it was amazing! The Christmas decorations were stunning, and the service was fantastic. Our server, Cassondra, was friendly and attentive, and she made us feel welcome. We shared the cinnamon roll, and let me just say, it was the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. Perfectly warm and gooey, it was everything a cinnamon roll should be and more. We both ordered omelettes; they were hot and fluffy. Everything tasted fresh too. We’ll definitely be coming back!!"
"The Marsh House is located inside the Thompson Hotel in the Gulch district. My wife and I decided to eat at this restaurant as we had $200 food and beverage credit from the hotel. The restaurant is inviting, has nice décor and the lighting was not too dark or light, overall good vibe. We started with the oysters, which were disappointing as it seems the restaurant picked the smallest oysters they could find. I am familiar with the types of oysters we ordered, so the type was not the reason for the size. From there, we ordered our entrees. My wife ordered the halibut, and I ordered the salmon. The fish was cooked perfectly with nice crisp skin and presented nicely. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service was lacking, and our server seemed to disappear for extended periods of time. The restaurant was not busy, so there was no reason for his absence. There were two occasions where others had to bring our food. We did have a chance to try a cocktail at the Marsh House the prior night. We sat in the bar area, and the bar tender was very attentive even though the entire bar area was full. We tried two different cocktails, and both were made well and had excellent taste. Overall, I would say if you were looking for dinner or a cocktail in the area, the Marsh House is worth a visit."
"Thanksgiving at March House was special! I have severe allergies so it is very difficult to go out to eat as almost always some type of prepared stock, mix or seasoning is used as well as dough conditioners, preservatives and the like! I was so impressed by Brooke in customer relations who saw to every detail and ensured that the food I ate caused no issue. Chef Brack prepares most everything from scratch, so I had ample choices! And Billy, and a host of others, provided excellent, timely service. I had only one challenge with the Thanksgiving menu, and it was quickly resolved. Every dish was just delicious, but I must recognize the 1st course: the roasted lamb atop a corn pudding surrounded by smoked tomato butter was SO delicious I could have eaten only that dish and been completely satisfied! The butternut pasta was incredibly rich, and the turkey dinner was enough for 3 meals for me! The meat was juicy and flavorful and the veggies and dressing a great complement to it. Another standout was the cranberry/cherry relish! The apple-cran sorbet made for a nice light finish after a huge meal! It is so rare to find a place that is willing to work with customers in the area of allergies, and how much more so on an incredibly busy Thanksgiving Day! Top-notch in every way! SO glad I chose it for my holiday meal!"
"The food here is DELICIOUS. You will not be disappointed. And the cinnamon roll is absolutely necessary. My server was sweet and very accommodating. I’d definitely recommend this spot for a quick eat!"
"I loved this restaurant for so many reasons. I was in Nashville to wedding dress shop with my daughter. She lives there now. I would recommend this place to anyone. We had a celebration lunch as Sierra found THE DRESS and I wanted it to be special. Our waitress was amazing and all of the food was divine! Also get the OYSTERS! And the smoked fish dip. Yummmmmm"
