From the moment we sat down, the food kept coming, served family-style and in wonderfully generous portions. Everything was delicious, comforting, and full of classic Southern flavor. The atmosphere felt welcoming and communal, making the meal feel more like a gathering than a restaurant visit. We enjoyed every minute and left completely satisfied, both by the food and the experience."

"Monell’s is a great place to take friends who are visiting from out of town because they have a wide selection of Southern food, and everything is really good. It’s a great way to experience classic Southern flavors. The restaurant is extremely popular, especially on weekends, so long lines are pretty much guaranteed. Even on weekdays during lunch, I’ve sometimes waited around 40 minutes. That said, the food is amazing and the holiday decorations are beautiful, so it’s totally worth it. If you don’t want to wait, ordering to-go box is also a great option."

"This is a must visit dining spot. The experience of eating with others makes it so special. You sit with a group of about 12 people and the food is served family style. The server brings out the plates and everyone passes them around, which reminded me so much of family gatherings and Thanksgiving. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. Such a fun and memorable way to enjoy a meal."

You sit down at a big table with 10–12 other folks, pass the food around, and before long you’re chatting and laughing like you’ve known each other for years. We’re from out of town, so being “forced” to meet new people made it even better. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the entire experience something truly special. If you’re ever in Nashville, make Monell’s a must-stop. You won’t just leave full… you’ll leave with new friends."

"Great community table experience! Our group of 6 shared a tablet with another similar group. The food was standard breakfast dishes with the Southern flair. The staff was very attentive. We arrived before 9 with no crowd, but drove back later and it was quite crowded! Reservations recommended!"
