from Google & Yelp"I’ve just been to this coffee shop and it was a very nice surprise as the coffee and the apple fritter muffin were exquisite. Colette, who works there, is very kind and she also gave me a few tips on what to visit in Nashville. Thank you so much and I’ll pop over again for a good coffee. Meryxx"
"We just stopped in for the first time today. The food, coffee, and service were wonderful. We have been without power from the ice storm for a week and they kindly gave us an extra pastry on the house. So grateful for East Nashville spots like these that prioritize support and community. Would absolutely go here again."
"It will never cease to amaze me that people are still waiting in that insane Starbucks drive thru line when this place is right across the street. The food and drinks are delicious, clearly hand made (with love) and is no more expensive than the corporate BS across the street. Most mornings, before work, I can be in and out within 5-10 minutes with a delicious coffee and an even better biscuit sandwich (one of the best in the city in my opinion). I've also never met a barista/staff member there who wasn't incredibly welcoming and kind! PLEASE try out this spot one morning, support a local spot that genuinely cares about quality and service, I promise you won't regret it!"
"Love getting a coffee at Slow Hand. Don't let the heavily tinted front windows fool you there is a friendly person in there ready to make you a nice coffee and serve you an excellent muffin, cookie, scone, pastry or biscuit. I love the grab and go egg biscuits. Get it just cheese or with sausage or bacon it's a super fluffy biscuit and a big fluffy omelette like egg that just puts any thing else in the area to shame. The fresh baked treats shouldn't be missed either particularly the cream cheese cookies or cheesy jalapeno muffins. My coffee order is usually a simple flat white but they have a great selection. If you are looking at long Starbucks lines come here and get something better, quicker and often cheaper."
"While I like the cookies, they are almost never open on time. When I come about 15 min after opening, there is a 50% chance any of the baked goods will be ready and out. Frequently the baristas will be frazzled trying to get everything ready. I wish it were more reliable because the cookies are great!"
