"What an amazing addition to the Shelbyville square! I waited until my 4th visit to leave a review and I can honestly say my first visit was wonderful and each has only gotten better. The menu has just enough variety for everyone in my circle of friends and few enough options that they pull each one off to perfection. I can't say enough about the atmosphere; it's cozy and exciting at the same time. The kind people and country vibe are the combination I enjoy. Real folks and honest respect for patrons. I'm looking forward to the second floor and rooftop experience in the future. I'll be a regular at Grindstone, say hi when you see me there!"

"We are so excited Grindstone Cowboy has come to Shelbyville!!! The building is gorgeous and the staff are so friendly! The food and drinks are delicious and love the atmosphere. "Finally a good place for breakfast on the square! When other restaurants reduced their portions and quality ingredients, Grindstone Cowboy stepped up and said "Hold my Beer." I've had both breakfast and lunch here and had a generous portion both times. The Rueben is delicious and this breakfast bowl is a value for the price! I quit going to another restaurant when their breakfast bowls started getting smaller and smaller and couldn't find a good place for breakfast until Grindstone Cowboy opened. I've recommended this place to many people since my first time coming. Counter style ordering, quick baristas, and delicious food. Run to Grindstone Cowboy!"

"When I say I love this place, I really love this place. I was familiar with their location in Eagleville so when they announced they were coming to Shelbyville, I was stoked! I have visited frequently since their opening and at this point have the majority of what they offer. From breakfast to lunch, to their coffee, I have enjoyed everything I have ordered. They have a large variety of options and everything top notch. I have tried many of their flavored coffees and loved every one I have tried, put personally just love black coffee (if it is good and not super bitter like that large chain stuff from the northwest) and they have the best coffee in town hands down. As for the atmosphere, its wild how you can forget you are on the square of Shelbyville when dining in. Absolutely, stunning decor and ambiance. You can tell the owners paid attention to every single detail in this place. Now, as for the staff and service. Everyone from the kitchen to cash register is fantastic. Attentive and friendly service across the board. The staff makes you feel like family. What a great addition to our town! Come check them out, visit them and visit often."
