"An amazing place. I really liked this place. Upon arrival, the atmosphere was very calm, very clean, and well-decorated. There were people of all ages, from children to seniors, enjoying themselves with their families. There were also students with their computers and some young people who went to hang out. The place has good music, and one of the few I've been to that featured Arctic Monkeys, so if you like the band, this is a good place. When I ordered coffee, the employees were very friendly and patient. The wait time wasn't long, and the coffee was quite delicious. An excellent place that you have to go to if you visit or live in Abilene."

"This was my first time coming in since the renovation. They did a great job cleaning the place up while maintaining the original feel of Monks. The coffee is as good as always. Everything is top tier."

"Great coffee shop!! Loved the atmosphere, there were several spots for more than 4 people. The baristas were very polite and helpful. Even though they were busy, they did not make us feel like we were wasting their time. There were 5 in our group and none of us had been here before, so we had questions about the different drinks. They were patient and friendly. We ordered different drinks and a couple of us even ordered "surprise me" drinks, which is a random drink that the barista makes for you. They were fun, and really good. Not super expensive and really good coffee. I'm looking forward to going back."

"This was a very cute local coffee shop. We came at 8pm and there was still a solid crowd. There was a cute authentic feel to it and they seem to have monthly flavors and all of the regular coffees as well. There is plenty of seating. This is probably a good study or social spot for students."
