The standout for me is Elke’s Nutty Creation, and now that I know what’s in it, it makes complete sense why it’s so good. The combination of pecan cheddar spread, bacon, candied jalapeños, and peach preserves on toasted molasses wheat bread hits that perfect sweet-savory balance. It’s rich without being heavy, a little sweet, a little salty, and just enough heat to keep it interesting. One of those sandwiches that sounds unusual but works surprisingly well. The café itself has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and service is friendly and easygoing. A great spot for a casual lunch when you want something comforting but a little different. "I gave 3 Stars because the jalapeño soup tasted so good and the store is so cute. However, the lady who took my order was the rudest woman I have ever encountered. She clearly hates her job. I have a cheery disposition and when I left, I lost my cheery disposition. Too bad. The food is good, but I won't go back there."

I also love their deli when I don’t have time to cook dinner or want to grab some yummy dips for cocktail hour.
