from Google & Yelp"Weird encounter upfront but weird isn't bad.. Anyway, glad we visited this spot because it was a great experience.. already planning our next visit.. The half sammy/half salad was amazing.. opted for turkey avocado sammy and kale salad.. everything was nice & fresh! Paired that with a simple cappuccino, although my cappuccino art was a bit combabulated, it was still delicious! My bf got the avocado toast.. wishing he had an option for salad because the basic side salad was just ok.. he would have preferred the kale salad instead.. he got some drinks with cold brew and whiskey.. forgot the name but he said it was good as well.. Will definitely be back for sure...."
"Great neighbourhood hangout spot. This was my first visit to the newly relocated Cenote on E. 7th St in downtown and a thoroughly enjoyable one. Bright and joyful decor and wall art coupled with friendly service, robust and flavourful coffee and healthy food selection. I had the avocado toast and a whole milk latte. Had to come back for a second cup. Only a small 15 minute parking lot in the back but plenty of cheap metered street parking on surrounding side streets off of E. 7th. Spacious multiple patios and pet friendly. Recommended!"
"Casual spot with great brunch options—the tacos are delicious! The vibe is perfect for hanging out, and I loved the outdoor seating and relaxed atmosphere."
"Nice place for quick “Austin-y” breakfast. More for tourists than locals. Decaf Americano tasted like water. That could use some improvement. Also, the person taking our order didn’t know what kind of beer was on tap (there was only one) and what the difference is between Chilaquiles and Migas. They had some delicious pistachio shortbread cookies from Texas French Bread though."
"I have always loved this sacred East Austin treasure for its atmosphere alone. The new location is beautiful and colorful with local artwork and a large patio outdoor space and parking in the back. Food is super fresh, lots of healthy options. I love to come and work here for a few hours every week. 🙌🏻"
"LONG LIVE CENOTE! Cenote has been an east Austin neighborhood staple for years. My family was so bummed when the old spot closed down, but what the owner..."
