"Ok I completely understand the hype. My husband and I went this past Saturday prior to the deep freeze thinking since most people were probably hibernating this would be the best time to check it out. There was only a line of 3 people when we went so we made the right call. The shop itself is very aesthetically pleasing - beautiful chandeliers, open glass, and modern arches everywhere. Plenty of chairs to hang out though wouldn’t recommend as a place to study as even the day we went it was pretty crowded and most seats were taken. I got the banana cloud matcha and oh man the matcha was smooth, the banana cloud had just the right amount of creamy texture without being overly sweet and definitely is banana flavored. Note most of their matcha drinks are iced and I was worried that it would water down the flavor of the drink, but it did not. My husband got a special off the January menu the chai and was impressed as he said it wasn’t overly sweet and spiced well. They do offer bakery items though we didn’t try any. Parking wise no real free parking unless you come before the meters start. Otherwise it’s all paid street parking."

"So glad I decided to stop in here during my trip to Austin! Despite how busy this place was the service was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful and got our drinks to us very fast. The banana cream latte and matcha were both incredible. I’d say the coffee was better because the bitter espresso balanced the sweet banana while the matcha ended up feeling a bit too sweet for my taste. Ended up stopping by a second time because it was so yummy!"

"I tried La La Land Cafe at SoCo and finally understand the hype. I had the La La Latte Matcha, and it was honestly mind blowing: smooth, perfectly balanced, and easily one of the best matcha drinks I’ve had in Austin. There’s usually a bit of a queue, but it moves steadily and is absolutely worth the wait. The vibe is great, the drinks are consistently well made, and it’s the kind of place you don’t mind waiting for once you know how good it is. Definitely coming back."

"La La Land Kind Café in Austin is such a vibe, bright, welcoming, and full of good energy. I had the almond croissant and I swear it might be the best in the world, insanely rich, buttery, and perfectly flaky. I also tried the La La Dream Toast, a matcha, and the La La Dream Café drink, all amazing and super smooth. The Trouble Burrate Toast was fresh and flavorful too, the kind of thing you can tell they actually put thought into. Everything here just feels good, great food, great drinks, and the kind of place that instantly lifts your mood. Austin definitely needed this spot."

"I tried the Strawberry Matcha and the Banana Cloud Latte, and both drinks were absolutely fantastic. The Strawberry Matcha was beautifully layered — the subtle earthiness of the matcha paired perfectly with the sweet, fruity strawberry flavor. It’s refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet, making it a great pick-me-up any time of day. The Banana Cloud Latte was a total standout — creamy, smooth, and topped with a delightful “cloud” foam that made it feel like dessert in a cup. The banana flavor was natural and comforting without being overpowering."
