from Google & Yelp"The bagels here are delicious. When you arrive you make your order on the machines in front. They provide a ton of different combinations, which can be overwhelming but it also means you can build your bagel pretty much whichever way you want. Sometimes I just want a regular toasted bagel with regular cream cheese, but today was different. We tried the Alexa (tomato, avocado, chive and garlic cream cheese) and it fulfilled my bagel dreams. We also went a little crazy and ordered the Longhorn (2 fried eggs, cheddar cheese, breakfast potatoes, Charlie's hot sauce, and we chose the vegan sausage) which was heavy and decadent and wonderful. They were both really really good. An excellent bagel place, indeed."
"I felt a sense of relief excitement walking into Nervous Charlie’s Bagels. Maybe it was the frozen ground or the cool brisk air but that didn’t matter because I had this delicious bagel toasted to perfection in my lap. The bagel was impressive, even being miles and miles away from where bagels run the world. In between my everything bagel was a warm, egg, melted cheese and bacon also cooked to perfection cut in half and wrapped in foil to keep all the love inside. Def a good bagel spot!!!"
"Had heard rave reviews from my daughter and her friends who frequent regularly and was excited to try. Was sadly very underwhelmed. Took a bite of her Longhorn on an Everything bagel with bacon and the seeds on the bagel were burnt and honestly the sandwich was nothing special. I got the pastrami hash on sesame and did not care much for it either - the hash was under-seasoned which may be bec pastrami is salty but there was too little pastrami and too much pickled jalapeno which just overpowered the whole sandwich. I honestly didn’t even check if there was cheese bec I didn’t taste it. Servers were extremely nice though, and efficiently worked through the wall-to-wall Saturday morning crowd. And it sure was packed (we probably waited 20+ mins) which also made for a loud and claustrophobic meal, so we took it to go instead. If I ever return, I think I’ll just get a bagel and cream cheese bec the sandwiches were just sadly, a let down, especially for the $12/sandwich price tag. Lots of other breakfast and brunch places in town with far better food and value."
"Great bagel sandwiches! Our order did take a little while to be prepared, and once it was we don’t hear a shut out so several more minutes passed until we went to ask about our order a second time. But the bagels are yummy! Also the strawberry cucumber tea(?) drink was so so good! It almost tasted of watermelon? Very refreshing on a hot summer day."
"We had a great time at Nervous Charlie’s! The lox bagels we got were perfectly toasted, delicious - up to par with some of the best bagels I’ve had from all over the states. The cold brew slaps too. Good music, and the workers were really kind and quick to get our meal to us on a Saturday afternoon! Thanks y’all."
