What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"I absolutely love the atmosphere at this place. There's plenty of outdoor seating (shaded and not) surrounding the main bar, and I love the food truck options, especially Veracruz which has fantastic food. I've only eaten from the food trucks so I can't comment on the bar options. I visited both during lunch and dinner; the night I went also happened to be open mic indoors which was relaxed and quiet (and crowded), but plenty of room outdoors if you wanted to just chat with friends."

"My favorite of the Radio locations! Cozy wooden interior and friendly service. Excellent back bar selection and creative coffee drinks and cocktails."

"Great coffee and nice small bar for the evenings. Multiple food trucks and a very spacious indoor and outdoor setting."

"Great vibe, plenty of seating. It was a Sunday afternoon so I expected it to be even more packed. The coffee and matcha choices were awesome, I think I had a pineapple upside down latte. So cool, so different. Some good food truck options as well, with a Veracruz Tacos and Chicken Lollipop place. There was a cut off for the parking nearby, smaller cars only. Not a problem, just thought it was a bit strange. Also, they have concerts and take the fences down and have had 2,000 people there. Very cool. @ianofAustin approved!"

"Radio East feels like the quieter, more relaxed version of the original Radio Coffee & Beer. If you’ve ever been to the first one, you know it can get really busy, especially on weekends or when there’s live music. This one on the east side is way more chill. It’s a great place to go when you want good coffee without the crowds. There’s a big outdoor area with lots of shade and plenty of space to sit. It’s easy to find a quiet spot to read, journal, work, or just enjoy your drink. The vibe is still cool and welcoming, but not too loud or packed. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a slower pace. The coffee is just as good as the original, and there’s beer too if you’re in the mood. There are also food trucks here, and the ones I’ve tried have been really tasty. It’s the kind of place you can hang out for a while without feeling rushed. If you like the original Radio but want something a little calmer, Radio East is worth checking out. It’s cozy, friendly, and feels like a little hidden gem on the east side."

"So many great things both Radio/East although I think it would be more accurately named Radio/Southeast since you must venture south of the river for this..."
