"Took one bite of my donut and it tasted stale and hard and just plain wrong, took a look at the bottom and I find what looks like MOLD! My kolache was fine, the other donuts were dry, and I didn’t notice this til after I ate my other items 😩 Update: I called and they tried to claim it was just yeast but it was not on my other 2 donuts and it tasted old and stale"

I tried a few different kinds, and honestly, none of them were anything to write home about. The blueberry donut was surprisingly hard and practically inedible, which was a real disappointment. I also tried the crème-filled, with a darker-looking dough. It was the best in the box yet still not worth the calories! And the classic glazed? It just lacked that light, airy, melt-in-your-mouth quality you crave in a truly great glazed. I don't want to be overly harsh, and I know Austin is fantastic for so many other culinary delights. But for my fellow donut lovers out there, if you're looking for a memorable donut experience, you might want to try another spot.
