from Google"This place is so quaint and has very delicious food. The fries were well seasoned and the Smoked Turkey Sandwich was Devine! We went for Happy Hour and the sandwich was not on Happy Hour but we split it and we were satisfied. They make the turkey there, and the bread. Ben was at the bar and really was so friendly. He told us all about the food and he really was passionate and proud to serve such great food. The other bartenders- sorry, I didn’t get their name - but super friendly. I love this place and will tell all my friends."
"Sour Duck Market in Austin absolutely knocked it out of the park. I ordered the Peeler Farms Wagyu double smash burger and it was unreal. Two perfectly smashed wagyu patties with incredible flavor, melty American and pimento cheese, crisp pickles, and their secret sauce all tied together on a soft challah bun. Every bite was balanced, rich, and insanely satisfying without being over the top. The season fries were just as impressive. Perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned exactly right. They held up great with the burger and were impossible to stop eating. This was hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had and easily top three of my life. If you are a burger fan and in Austin, Sour Duck Market is a must visit."
"Popped in for some breakfast as my partner and I were headed out of Austin and im so glad we stopped through! My partner got the breakfast taco, it was so good she went back to order a second! I got the breakfast sammy and an order of fries with the most amazing ketchup (im assuming housemade) I've ever had. The breakfast tacos have a very layered but balanced flavor, the milder cheese option works better here. The breakfast sammy (sausage) was well seasoned - the fresh onion, arugula blend and cilantro avacado sauce were just that added touch of creamy, herby flavor. The fries were most definitely cooked in beef tallow and tossed in a zesty seasoning blend. We also got a cocktail and a tequila sunrise, both were delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and if I lived in Austin id go back for dinner and some cold beers on the spacious patio area. When im back in town, ill most certainly be visiting the restaurant again."
"First time at Sour Duck Market, and it was such a great stop before our dinner plans! We came in for a light bite and some coffee, and it ended up being the perfect choice. I ordered a salted caramel decaf latte with almond milk, and my wife had a mocha with oat milk — both were delicious, cozy, and beautifully crafted. For food, we shared a vegetarian sandwich on focaccia (mushroom Philly–style — I forgot the exact name), but wow, it was amazing! The pickled onions, flavorful veggies, mushrooms, and that subtle hint of mustard all came together perfectly. We finished with the spiced potato cake, recommended by the staff, and it did not disappoint. It paired so well with my latte! We’ll definitely be back again. Cheers! 🥂"
"Came here for a group brunch. I had a good time. I had the fried chicken hash and it was delicious. The chicken is crispy and juicy. The potatoes were great and the sauce was addictive. Others for the goat brunch special, chilaquiles, and burger. Everyone enjoyed their meal and drinks. The food came out fast even though we ordered at different times because we were talking. The place is great for groups because everyone orders and pays individually by scanning a QR code. There are 2 small parking lots and I was lucky to get a space. I got the last one when I arrived and there were cars waiting for my spot when I left so try to get there early."
