from Google"1 part cocktail and 1 part coffee and you have Stargazer. Conveniently located right off a parking lot (and taco truck), Stargazer has this funky, earthy vibe to it. The setting here is somewhere between a craft brewery and a botanical garden, which gives it a very unique feel. Throw in a pool table, some foosball, and various nightly events such as trivia or comedy, and you have something special. By the time we got to the counter to order we were pretty excited to see what was in store. However, the wait was… long, which wouldn’t be bad if we hadn’t been the only people in line. We must have waited about 10 minutes or so before we got someone to take our order, and that’s with a barista at the bar and another worker restocking in front of us. It just felt like there was zero urgency and the line behind us began to grow and eventually got to the door. When we finally got our order taken the staff were nice and the process was smooth. We ordered a hot chocolate and a hot strawberry matcha latte. They do offer a pretty expansive menu with cocktails and other specialty drinks if that’s your vibe. Our drinks came out pretty quick and we drank them while playing some pool (pretty cool sentences to say when it’s coffee you’re drinking). The hot chocolate is fantastic; it has a sweet milk chocolate taste similar to Dutch Bros but a bit better in our opinion. The strawberry matcha was just okay, much more on the earthy side with a nice hint of strawberry in it. The bottom of the cup had a lot of semi absorbed matcha in it which was a bit unenjoyable to finish a drink off with. We really liked the setting of Stargazer and it’s hard not to. Between the funky vibe, cool events going on, and games, it’s a lot of fun. The service leaves a bit to be desired and the drinks were hit or miss, but it’s a place we would come back to, especially with things like pickleball and rock climbing nearby. We’re looking forward to coming here again and seeing if things are different, but for now we feel this place warrants a placeholder of 3."
"Lovely indoor outdoor coffee house on the edge of a complex with many forms of entertainment, dining, and shopping. Picking up a coffee and walking to black feather vintage is a great way to take in all that the complex has to offer.b Stargazer's long hours make them a great destination to work or socialize. There is a playground in front along with a shaded corridor of tables. I enjoyed the cold brew, but look forward to returning for the cocktails. The complex has several free parking lots and there is free street parking nearby."
"If you ever wonder what's the place for daytime raves and community events that are a little hippie, you should definitely visit stargazer. We had so much fun and this is our go-to place for lunch time coffee and also evening events that they host. There are very few coffee shops that have made the reputation that stargazer has especially with their innovative drink menu which takes coffee to the next level."
"Stargazer Coffee Stargazer is a standout coffee shop tucked inside what looks like a converted warehouse, with soaring ceilings and a spacious, open layout that feels both industrial and thoughtfully designed. From the moment you walk in, you get the sense this place is about more than just coffee – it’s a creative hub with energy and style. We visited on a Sunday and were met with live DJ music, filling the space with deep, resonant sound thanks to excellent acoustics. The vibe was electric but relaxed, with a great crowd and an inviting atmosphere. There’s also a large patio for those who prefer to enjoy their coffee outdoors. Events seem to be a regular feature here – there was a posted schedule of upcoming happenings, hinting at how much more this space offers beyond the daily café experience. The coffee was great, the space inspiring, and the overall ambiance made it feel like one of Austin’s rising gems. Whether you’re here for a drink, music, or just soaking in the scene, Stargazer deserves a spot on your list. It feels like one of those places that’s about to become a local legend."
"Chill vibe & atmosphere, delicious coffee, pastries, and ice cream, kid-friendly, shaded seating, indoor & outdoor areas, knowledgeable and friendly staff, well-maintained, and 3 food trucks to choose from on most days. We went on a Monday around noon when two of the three trucks opened with my 2 little daughters and a friend with her 3 little kids. The kids were entertained for 3 hours with the single rocketship tower (made of metal so the slide was too hot), and the wooden building blocks. My family ordered food from Santo Patio- a shrimp taco, 2 egg, cheese, and bacon tacos, and the beef machaga and egg taco- and our friends ordered from Dripping Springs Tender Co (Atlas Sandwhich Co isn't open Mondays) and we were both happy with our meals. I also ordered a hot half-caf oatmilk latte and blueberry cobbler bar for myself, and grabbed chocolate milks and Lick mint chocolate chip ice cream for the girls, all delicious! I love the mugs they use for the coffee and ice cream- they're cute and feel more cozy to hold. I will say their choice of slatted metal tables on the lower patio area isn't my favorite- a little less food & drink friendly with the gaps and slight unevenness but not a big deal. The music they had playing was perfect for a happy, cozy, chill environment. We will be back, but we live about 30 minutes away, otherwise we'd definitely be back more often!"
