"This place has an amazing vibe to it! The beer and cider selection is very good quality! I usually despise IPAs, but the Cosmic Cowboy IPA tastes incredible. The Black Pearl Lager is my absolute favorite though! Not too heavy in the stomach, but it's not lacking in good flavor at all! The cafe menu is basic offering coffees, teas, lemonades, and hot chocolate. I always love when a place offers a small, but high quality, menu set. On top of that, the prices are very good! They also have a fridge section that has other things like sodas, teas, energy drinks, snacks, small meals and a whole lot of other options!!! These don't even come close to the bakery items, though! Their spinach and feta danishes and their jalapeno cheese and sausage kolaches are extremely good especially when they toast them a little! This place may be basic to the normal eye, but it's somewhere you can go for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and even to hang out with friends at the end of the day for a few drinks!! The service I got here was amazing. The staff members I've encountered here are always friendly, open to talking when they aren't too busy, and very welcoming! Overall, this place deserves 5 stars across the board on every aspect in my opinion. I can't recommend it enough! Thank y'all for being one of my favorite spots in central Texas!"

"There’s an older woman, possibly named Kristina or Christina Pearce, who often claims to be the manager. I've seen her harshly reprimand staff in public, creating a tense atmosphere for everyone. Her communication—especially around beer and wine availability—has been inconsistent and misleading. The overall management feels disorganized. Free giveaways (though nice) suggest poor oversight, and the vibe has shifted to chaotic, especially during mornings or closing time. Staff seem undertrained, and both service and product quality have dropped since opening. What started as an exciting community space for grad students now feels mismanaged and uninviting. We’re hoping for a positive change soon."

"I like this place! My only beef is the hours!! They need to change!!! I was told by an employee y’all are looking at changing them next semester. But that’s not until freaking August and changes need to be made before then!!!! You could have a crowd and you would make more money, if you were open during softball games at McCombs. And if you were open after 5p & on weekends. You could also pass out coupons to 🥎 Softball goers and invite them to come over. Who Doesn’t like a discount. Anyway, you get my drift."
