"Oh my word! If you like southern home cooked meals, this is your place! There’s a really great selection of food in a cafeteria style line where you select you meat and sides and they put it on your plates. How they get that much food on your plate is pretty amazing . Choose from gumbo, catfish coubion, beef tips with gravy, smothered peas, greens, cornbread and TONS more. They offer fried food in the afternoon and pm I believe. You gotta try this little hole in the wall that is high cuisine!"

"Food was horrible cornbread dressing had no taste it looked tan cabbage was ok should have had meat in it to make the flavor pop turkey wing gravy was made with a lot of flour man that served the food said I couldn’t go wrong with anything that was a lie the man gave a lady a sample in a cup he gave me my sample on a napkin mind you fish with gravy safe to say I won’t be coming bk"

"Came on a Monday after hearing about this place from a coworker. It was nice and clean inside, I was greeted, they told me to take my time and decide what I wanted so I didn’t feel rushed and pressured to order quick. All of the choices looked fresh and amazing. I got hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and stuffing. The gravy as you can see is nice and dark and so flavorful with a bit of a nice kick that is hard to replicate without being overly spicy. The hamburger steak it’s self nice big portion and seasoned well. The Mac and cheese and stuffing were pretty good as well. This place reminds me of grandmas cooking it has such a good vibe to it. And the koolaid was not too sweet just right."

"I love Richard's Cafe and have enjoyed the menu options for a long time. It's a true down-home/Soul Food Kitchen. It was the perfect place for my friend's family, who owns the restaurant, to get married. My favorite dishes are the pig's feet, ox tails, or turkey wings."
