What People Are Saying
from Google"I was here with a friend around 7pm on Monday 12/22. The cashier was friendly and seemed to be in training, as she was being shown by a manager/higher up how to use the system. The menu has a lot of options with latte’s, food, and desserts. I decided to try their holiday drink “Cozy Christmas” with oat milk, and my friend had the “Santa’s Brown Butter Latte” with a seasonal Christmas cookie. I also had a turkey lettuce wrap with a lemonade to drink for something filling. Once we ordered, we waited around 10+ minutes where two men came in after us to place an order AFTER us. A boss or the owner came in and was quick to greet the two men, so I’m assuming she knew them, and went to the back to check in with the employees. Once she came out, she had what looked like my order, and didn’t bother asking who it belonged to. She handed it to the two men and I saw them picking at it, because it obviously wasn’t their order and they seemed confused. The cashier who took our order found out our food was taken to a different table, so she went to take it from them and apologized to me and my friend. The men also apologized to me for picking at my food, since they were trying to figure out what it was, or who it belonged to. I watched her take it to the what I think was the manager or shift lead (he was wearing a blue shirt), and I overheard him tell her to simply give the food to us. Typically, any time a food is on someone else’s table, you would have to remake it, as it is a health hazard to move food between tables. I’ve never seen someone in charge tell someone it is okay to do so until now. The drink my friend ordered was incredibly salty, as if you were to put salt on your tongue, so she only had a few sips of it. My food, now given to me from another table, was cold and seemed premade. The shredded cheese inside of the wrap wasn’t fully melted was raw, but I barely touched it knowing it was on another table. I stopped eating halfway through, to which I noticed we weren’t given the cookie my friend ordered and my lemonade. I had to go up to remind the cashier, to which we were given our items promptly. The cookie my friend had was flavorful and chewy, but the lemonade was completely clear and looked like water. To put it simply, it tasted like a lemon squeezed into a glass of water, which isn’t really lemonade and more like lemon water. I am not the type to complain or make a commotion, so I simply asked for a to go box and threw it away when my friend and I left, but I am making it aware for those interested in trying the cafe. The cashier was really sweet and helpful despite everything."
"Bell’Aroma Kostoryz is one of the best cafes in Corpus Christi! The menu has a wide variety of delicious options, from healthy wraps and delicious croissant sandwiches to decadent pastries. Dietary choices too like different dairy-free milks or vegetarian offerings. The drinks are perfectly made with a ton of seasonal menu options and toppings. The atmosphere and decorations are so cute, with multiple photo ops including a phone booth! To top it off, the service is great, staff is so respectful (Robert was our barista and everything was perfect) and overall a great vibe."
"💯AMAZING ….. we got the S’mores latte (hot), the Iced Bell Aroma Twist with Mazapan and a chocolate chip mazapan cookie……🫶….this place is a MUST. I love unique flavors and cafes that aren’t scared to offer items outside of the norm. Can’t wait to see what they have when we come back. The owner was so nice and it’s always great to see owners onsite. The service was excellent and knowledgeable making sure we ordered exactly to satisfy our expectations. Everything was a 10! Will be back soon…..see ya there!"
"This is the second time I have come to this location and I hoped it was a better experience. First off I wish the menu would have the description of the drink (what’s in it). Sugar free options are not visible and when I asked the server he said “I think we can do that” so I had to ask if he could make sure before I ordered and it wasn’t possible. My sister then asked different questions about some drink options and he did not know. As we sat down to wait for our drinks (I’m not sure if it’s the owner or manager) started reprimanding staff about their request off. She was telling the young man he had to many request and he basically can only work two days. We sat across the cafe but that’s how loudly she said it. Even with Christmas music playing we could clearly hear her. He seemed embarrassed and walked away. I understand frustration but that should have been held in the back room away from customers. The owner/manager also had a young child with her. He said loudly he was going to the rr then came back and was sitting on the table and had his shoes on the table. He was walking around on the table top. We kept waiting for her or staff to ask him to get down so they could wipe off the table but that’s did not happen. It is a great aesthetic the pinksnthe decorations etc..however the atmosphere was unpleasant. The owner/manager asked staff to bring her chips and chohula because she was stressed and we felt her stress as well. It’s my sisters birthday so we just wanted a cute cafecito with great atmosphere and are disappointed. We are truly saddened because of course we want to find a hometown cozy spot but on to the next."
"The service was great. My group ordered a lot and they got everything right first try. The food tastes great, the menu has so many options and the pastries not only look amazing, they are delicious. Our barista Robert was very communicative and explained the drink options to us when we had a lot of questions. Fantastic experience!"
