"My husband and I had a delicious dinner here before walking down to the Texas Theater to catch a re-run of The Dark Knight - such a great date night in Oak Cliff! The atmosphere at Atelie is moody, artistic, and intimate. Their floor to ceiling drapery separates the busy street of Jefferson to immerse you in their cuisine experience. While there are only a dozen items on the menu, everything we had was tastefully impressive and thoughtfully presented. We ordered the winter salad, prawns, sweet potato, cacio e pepe, wagyu skirt steak, and a strawberry matcha cheesecake (coupled with a mezcal old fashioned and a passion fruit margarita). Nothing was short of exceptional. We are super excited to have this restaurant in the neighborhood and look forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu."

The cacio e pepe is among the best I've had (and I've had a lot, from Italy to NYC +). The wagyu bolognese will knock your socks off. The service was perfect and Chef Wyl himself came out to not only chat with is but to sincerely gather feedback. All this, and the cost was very reasonable! Entrees ~$20-30, wine/cocktails $15ish. So grateful that the Ateliê team has chosen Oak Cliff as their home. I'm looking forward to their upcoming tasting menu."
