What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I was a bit disappointed in the food because I believe some of it needed more salt, like the pinto beans. My Rise & Shine burger was fine, but it wasn’t special. The best things were the rolls and cornbread muffins. You can taste that the rolls were homemade, and I liked the diner atmosphere as well. The waitstaff was also courtesy and friendly."
"Fried Pickles were salty but the ranch was divine. Rhubarb and strawberry 🍓 pie was tart. Brown gravy get it! Side dishes were excellent recommend mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and green beans. Chicken fried chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. Service and tea was excellent! It’s one of the rare pie shops that still use a meringue on the top."
"This particular diner has all of the classic American diner vibes. It’s a bustling environment with Christmas music in the air, all races of Americans, and amazing customer service where you may be called “darling” at the end of a sentence. The people that work here appear to love their jobs, there are many customers that seem to be repeat customers as many servers know them by name. I had a chicken fried steak with 3 sides. A large meal and the price was fantastic. What a Vibe, what meal and what great people. All 5 starts."
"Love coming to Norma’s for breakfast. Great food quality, good portions and value. Friendly staff always. This is a classic go-to, every time I come the service and quality is consistent."
"Asked our friend for a good breakfast spot and he suggested Norma’s. Cute, cute spot/diner. Has counter seating as well as booths. The breakfast was really good. Pie looked amazing."
"About we got back. Its been far too long. Lots of competition in Collin county for our dining out budget. Posted photos of two yummy plates we got and saved..."
