What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"The food was truly amazing and the tea itself was divine—clearly curated with care and intention. The ambiance and décor were beautiful, and elegant set the tone for a refined experience. The chef was very friendly and welcoming, which added a warm, personal touch. Service was knowledgeable and able to explain what was being served, which I appreciated. This is not a quick turnaround experience. Expect to settle in and enjoy about a 90-minute tasting menu, which felt appropriate for the style of service and the level of detail in the food and tea. While the tea service itself was lovely and exactly what I expected, there are a few refinements that would better match the price point. Fresh plates and utensils should be provided with each course, and tea would feel more elevated if brewed and served in a pot rather than having guests prepare and time their own cups. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would return. Next time, I would simply ask for a new plate and cup at the beginning of each course. With a few small adjustments, this could be exceptional."
"We've been going here for years, but I haven't posted a review. Figure better late than never. We had the holiday afternoon tea this past weekend and the entire menu was wonderful. The teas offered were so fragrant and matched really well with the food. Everyone was so nice and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We try to have afternoon tea here whenever the menu changes with the the new theme because Chef Andres is a genius when it comes to creating these wonderful dishes. Seriously, I don't know how he comes up with these combinations that work well together. You need to check out this place, if not for afternoon tea, but for the wonderful pastries and food they offer."
"I visited in December, and I was beyond pleased! The decor was stunning, the service was wonderful (super friendly and attentive), and the tea and treats were unique and flavorful yet approachable and classic. I can tell the staff is thoughtful and passionate about the guest experience. I have not found an afternoon tea in DFW that I can say rivals the experience at St. James in Albuquerque (if you know, you know), and this hits the spot. I was so happy to have visited, and I WILL be back!"
"This place is such a hidden gem! It has a super cozy, vintage vibe, like having tea at your grandma’s house. The tea was delicious, and the desserts were amazing too. The whole atmosphere feels peaceful, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Definitely coming back!"
"I had the most lovely and beautiful birthday celebration here. My Mom and I had tea together to celebrate my birthday and the atmosphere is so charming, elegant, and inviting. Moreover, the tea and menu are made with quality whole foods and ingredients—you can taste their richness. I love this tearoom and can’t wait to return. ❤️"
"This place was below subpar. The actual tea and pastries were decent, but the service genuinely takes away from the experience. It wasn't what I was..."
