"I was here with some friends just under two weeks ago, and it was a nice experience. Parking was a little difficult but only because the Knox–Henderson area is busy on weekend nights, but I didn’t mind the walk. Even though it was packed enough to make finding a table also somewhat difficult, I was with a large group of > 20 people. After finding a spot, I decided to order the Stilton burger and their house salad, both of which were fantastic. Despite not being the most frequent bar attendee, I’d happily return to the Old Monk and try more of the food for its great taste and for the staff’s warm service."

"We used to come here all the time before we moved from the area. We came back today it was great as usual. I typically get the chicken strips because they might be my favorite in Dallas. Today I went with the chicken, biscuits, and gravy on the brunch menu. While I thought it was good, I regretted not getting the chicken strips. They are too good! The rest of the group got a salad and eggs Benedict and said it was great (pictured). A dog friendly patio is a plus and the staff immediately brought us a dog bowl. Highly recommend if you want a casual bite with good drinks!"
