"Went here for the first time after hearing it on social media since it first opened. When I first walked in I noticed right away how small the place was. It’s definitely not a place to go and chat or do school work. The tables are so small, but it’s okay cause I know this business is just starting :). I got the lotus matcha and the strawberry puree matcha . I will have to say they were really good. Although I did notice the matcha had a different undertone flavor than others but Ik matcha flavors can be different. The cookie butter foam was so good and the strawberry puree had a very fresh flavor. The reason I’m giving it four stars is due to the price point. Unfortunately it’s not a place you’d want to consistently visit. Almost 10 dollars for a matcha is kind of insane. Usually you’ll see these prices in bigger cities like LA, Houston, or NY. Even then I remember getting a double matcha for 7 $ in LA. Ik they use pricier matcha powder but I’m just putting it out there because almost 10$ for the valley is crazy. Other than that it’s definitely worth a try once in a while, I can’t wait to try their mango puree soon :3"

"Best matcha in the valley. I can tell they use high quality matcha and ingredients. They weigh the matcha powder to get the best matcha/milk ratio. I saw the baristas whisk the matcha powder and take their time using proper techniques. The aesthetic is straight out of a Pinterest board. The price is fair for the quality of the products. This place is too far from where I live and I wish it was closer. I can’t wait for them to open a new location in McAllen or Mission and take online orders!!!"

"I absolutely love Sip Matcha! I’ve been here a handful of times and have tried several of their drinks, my favorite so far is the Lotus Matcha. You can really tell the matcha is high quality just by the vibrant green color. 💚 The shop is small, cozy, and super cute, and the owner, Valerie, is incredibly sweet and welcoming. I really appreciate how she takes the time to explain the flavors and lets you know if a drink is already sweet or tart before you order. This spot has officially become my go-to matcha place. Highly recommend for any matcha lover!"

"Loved the matcha, but didn’t like the seating/tables. It feels obvious that they don’t want you to stay long. This isn’t a place to chill and relax with friends, feels more like a place to quickly grab and go. Which is ok, but I like places where you can actually sit and hang, talk awhile, and maybe even do a craft at the table. But these tables were literally so small it was wild.
