"I walked in and ordered a cortado to go and was told they only make cortados for dine in. The baristas were friendly and very polite and made it clear this was the owner’s rule. The alternative I was offered was a small cappuccino in an eight ounce cup which I accepted. I was charged 6.50 for what ended up being the exact same size and makeup of a cortado - 2 ounces of espresso and 2 ounces of milk is nowhere near worth that price. If the owner wants to have an opinion about how a cortado should be enjoyed that is one thing but it doesn't feel right to charge that much money for such a small drink especially in a small Texas town. I left feeling frustrated and honestly a little taken advantage of. The staff did their best and were lovely but the pricing and policy do not make sense. The coffee itself was also just ok and I left wishing I had gone somewhere else. I hope the business reconsiders how it handles this because I will not be returning."

"Stopped in today and tried their fall menu. The brown sugar iced latte was absolutely delicious, as was the pumpkin spice latte. I’m so glad to see they’ve added pastries to their menu which was the perfect pairing to my latte. They also extended their hours since I was last in which I was pleased to see because I needed that afternoon pick me up. I highly recommend this coffee shop. We will be back for more!"

"My friends and I came here because we heard good things and wanted to check it out for ourselves. We were a large group of seven. Per our usual, we arrived bright and early just as the place was opening. Immediately, I was impressed with the service. Our barista was new and did a great job creating all of our specialized coffees and teas. Other patrons lightly streamed in. She was very sweet and managed well on her own. Soon her backup arrived but not before she serviced a lot of customers with a friendly smile and kind words. They don’t serve any food as of yet, but we were told that that would soon change. I can’t wait. All and my friends and I stayed for three hours. We didn’t mean to stay so long but we were really enjoying the atmosphere, our drinks, the service and the whole experience. They openly display very large brewing equipment. It looks really cool. Overall, the interior brandishes a somewhat rustic/industrial vibe. It’s a bit on the small side but seemed big enough regardless. I would certainly recommend for a cute local spot full of friendly faces and great lattes and expresses."
