"Yes a bit touristy (but hey, isn’t most of Galveston? 😉 ) but if you want a place to watch the sunrise, this was perfect! Lattes were lovely, from a simple push machine so don’t think it’s a barista artista or anything but simple cup of coffee, tasted perfect and even better on the deck watching the sunrise Yes you have to pay to enter the balcony and with this view I’d charge too! It’s worth it! Service was great! Super friendly, and even willing to go above and beyond for us ❤️ Will 100% be back with family next time!! There’s also a bar and that too would be fun to come experience!"

"Great place for coffee! Coffee was good, but the service and view was really outstanding. The coffee is good. At the least they have standard real coffee: latte, macchiato, etc. and syrup pumps. There is a beautiful view here in the morning if you get here early. Fun campy atmosphere in the shop and on the pier. Service! I have to say that Corinna was amazing. She made me another coffee when I accidentally dropped mine on the way to the rooftop viewing area. Free of charge! She has a great attitude that fits the atmosphere fantastically."

"To be fair, one doesn’t venture to Horizon Espresso for the coffee. Rather, I expect others like me to venture out to escape the hotel coffee and enjoy the walk. The service at Horizon was warm and welcoming. The view from the deck…. Well, you know. Enjoy"

"Woke up early to catch the sunrise and found this spot for myself. A true treasure indeed. The vanilla latte was good, the rooftop was great but the best part of this place is the lovely British lady who runs the place. She’s so friendly and inviting. What a fantastic story she has. I enjoyed her so much I went back the next morning for a chat and coffee again!"
