What People Are Saying
from Google"Had a wonderful breakfast here! The food was fresh, delicious, and felt truly homemade. For starters: The French toast was flavorful & fluffy and the omelet was cooked perfectly, and everything came out to our table hot and flavorful. The HOBO sandwich with potatoes, sausage, egg & cheese. Luis said when he bit into it, he could literally feel it just crumbling in his mouth it was so good! Anyone that knows me, knows that I do not eat meat. This can be a nightmare when trying to place an order. Because I generally have to make substitutions. However, there was no fuss made when I asked to swap out ham for spinach on my omelette! This makes this little vegetarian’s heart very happy! For a breakfast spot that has been open for only six months; they may still be using disposable cutlery and plates, however; they are definitely on the right track to make many bellies happy in Garland! The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience warm and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that starts your morning off right. I highly recommend Dos Huevos for an awesome breakfast!"
"Terrific little breakfast (and lunch) place on NW Highway in Garland. Quick service, quick preparation of the food, and a clean atmosphere. As a Brit, I eat chip butties (french fries in a sandwich with butter) and beans on toast. This is as close to that as you're going to get, since they'll basically put ANYTHING ON THE MENU into a roll for you. That's outstanding. :D Prices are updated in the store and on the online menu, and are higher than in some images you'll see. That's NOT an issue. There was no way they could sustain those old prices. As someone who lived in Upstate NY for 15 years, and often made it into the City and the Island, it's nice to see that culture here. And we needed this new venture, since across the street, Alondra's closed down. So go to Sali's for proper Calzone; come here for a Hobo done right. Hobo with bacon and cheese, side of black beans (refried, they weren't whole) $14 after tip. Probably a little more than a standard two-egg breakfast plate, but it's fine by me. This sandwich really really really hit the spot."
"These sandwiches hold a special place in my heart. Been going to this family since I was kid at there shop in NY “Daily Fresh”. I go to NY to visit family frequently and whenever I Go I have to get my “Sobo, salt pepper, ketchup and extra hot sauce” it’s been a religious experience ever since. Once I heard they opened a spot in Dallas to say I was excited is an understatement. They bring their culture with NY and Cambodian Home style potatoes. They will make you feel like family and the food is to die for. Call me biased all you want but try it and you’ll know what I’m talking about. From the environment, options for food, survive the whole thing is out of this world, thank you truly! Try there cheesesteak too!"
"When I first walked in I was pleased to see there were several people sitting and eating. As a new business, that’s a great sign! The staff was very friendly and helped me through the menu. I opted for the Hobo with sausage and it was delicious! I love the add of Siracha sauce and the home fry potatoes. The bun is very light and fluffy. Look forward to coming back!"
"Absolutely delicious! Maybe the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I had the hobo with sausage and cheese. The roll is thin and so soft. Make sure to get the ketchup sriracha salt and pepper on the sandwich. Highly recommend"
