from Google & Yelp"Really loved this bookstore and cafe on our drive down from Dallas to Austin. The bookstore is a lovely size with some great displays and suggestions of what to read. We shared a french press coffee (big enough for 3 or 4 people) at the cafe and enjoyed playing chess. There are a good selection of board games and comfy seats in the cafe area. The coffee is expensive, but worth it if you want to spend some time. We came with our baby and this might have been one of the most baby and kid friendly coffee shops I've ever been too. Good spaces for kids in the bookstore. Family bathrooms with changing tables and free diapers."
"Cute little bookstore near The Square in Georgetown! Parking was easy to find on a Sunday afternoon. This bookstore offers a unique selection of books, trinkets and gifts. They also have a cafe to sit at and enjoy a drink and pastry. Although the book selection is pretty small, I thought that the prices were fair, with some being even lower than retail because they do sell used books as well. For items other than books, prices are pretty high. My kids enjoyed climbing through Storybook Landing and drawing on the chalk walls. We shared a piece of pumpkin bread and it was yummy!"
"The bookstore itself is cute, the kids area however is honestly disgusting. I first heard about the bookstore from a review mentioning it having a cozy kids corner nook. They do have super cute kids books with stuffed animals but thats where the magic ends, on the first floor. The kids 'area' when you go up the stairs is a complete mess that doesn't look like it has been cleaned in months. The toys they do have need to be donated or thrown out. The chalkboard, while a nice feature, contains a fishbowl with little chalk nubs and dust everywhere just waiting for a choking hazard. I get that this is a bookstore and not a kids store - however if you are going to offer an area for children to play or read etc. then it needs to be maintained. I was really disappointed in its current state. Please go through, clean it up, and get a few durable toys that can be sprayed and cleaned when the floor and store is cleaned. Also please dust, or vacuum the kids area and replace the chalk or just turn it into a large magnetic board. Everything needs to be wiped down and sanitized up there."
"We have lived around here for a few years now and never stepped foot in this store! How did we miss this place?!? It is such a cute and intimate bookstore. There is a lovely reading nook for the kids as well as a small cafe in the back. Parking can be tricky- at least it was for us today- but well worth the effort. If you are a book lover, don’t miss out on visiting this place."
"If you all love supporting local bookstores and coffee shops I would definitely recommend this cozy, quaint and cute little bookshop in Georgetown. It’s one of my favorite places to go to. I visit here often and I just love the vibes and atmosphere in the bookstore. One of my favorite local bookstores and their coffee shop is amazing. They have a wide variety of books and I love their fiction section. If you have kids you will fall in love with their kids section. Such an adorable spot for little ones to sit, relax and read. They also have so many gift items that are really unique and you can’t find anywhere else. I would just love if you all would support this amazing bookstore because when you support local you are supporting small business ❤️❤️❤️❤️"
