"Can’t say a lot more than what has already been said about Original Pancake House. I thought our food was superb, the service was excellent, parking wasn’t an issue, prices were reasonable. I will say I love their coffee mugs and will probably buy one next time I’m in, always like the heavier solid mugs of hot Joe, and it’s very good like everything else here. I had an omelet and it was great, she had pancakes of course. Had a bite because I’m on keto but wow so good. Highly recommend!"

De’Andre has the presence of a business owner who personally takes care of his clients. From the moment he took our order to each interaction, De’Andre ensured myself and my family literally had everything we needed. De’Andre also impressed my in laws by speaking Spanish! "Since moving to Dallas, I had been wanting to try OPH for awhile .. today was that day. Perhaps it was an off day, based on the reviews, but it was average at best. I ordered the ribeye and eggs… steak was undercooked, and sent back…2/3 of tomatoes didn’t look or taste ripe, potatoes could have been cooked a little more. Coming from an experienced chain, I expected better. The food should be checked before going out the first time, sure occasionally something is missed, but just the experience itself was lacking for my expectations. In my opinion, if I send back an entire meal, then I might as well go somewhere else. Will I be back .. I’m not sure…I have had consistently better steak/eggs at a small diner for less though."

That being said, I wasn't expecting amazing from a pancake breakfast. 4 stars means I liked the experience and I would return. 5 stars would mean they exceeded my expectations."

After almost two days of traveling from Southeast Asia -- and still a full day of travels ahead of me -- stopped by this gem for a pick me up. Huevos con Papas & Pumpkin Pancakes definitely hit the spot! WOW! So looking forward to returning when I'm back in the DFW. Heartfelt thanks to Ms. Cammey and staff for my first breakfast experience in Teaxas in many years!"
