"I took my grandmother to breakfast here. We had their pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon while washing it down with some coffee. Everything I wanted in a breakfast; fluffy pancakes and everything else cooked perfectly. It was clean when we arrived but found some sticky items on the table- my only negative comment. There were a few tables being waited on and the place was quiet. They have an under $10 menu and Mexican breakfast options as well. I definitely recommend for a tasty breakfast. Update: 11/22/25 Craving chilaquiles and this place came to mind. Walked in on a Saturday morning and music was playing- it was the perfect, upbeat vibe for a Saturday morning. I had the green chilaquiles and my guest had the red. Craving satisfied as these were absolutely delicious. I'd have to say the green were my favorite. Our waitress was kind and attentive, while the service was quick."

"We frequented The Cafe for years now. We decided to try under the new owner. We were quite surprised and delighted that they kept the old and added mexican food on the menu. Today we tried our old usual to see the difference. Home fries had onion and bell peppers added in. Delicious. Link sausage was good also. Bacon was crispy just right. I asked for salsa they had house made green or red. I chose red. Man it was good and had a kick. Both scrambled and over easy was cook well. Waitress was knowledgeable and kind. I will go back and try some new menu items."

"I stopped in to have a cup of coffee while my bike was getting work at the shop across the street. The server was delightful and helpful. The coffee was... just coffee. Nothing negative, just normal. I wasn't terribly hungry but I wanted to try some Salvadoran options. The server suggested one of their tamales and a papusa. Both were excellent! Will definitely be back!"

"I came here back in the early 90s but I don't remember much about it. I read online they had great chicken and waffles so I had to try. They were good. The waffle was just a basic waffle, nothing super special, which was fine with me. The chicken tasted great, which is what I was really more concerned with. After ordering, we noticed a sign that read "gorditas $2.00" and they included meat, so we ordered a couple to try them. I got chicken and my husband got some other meat (I can't recall). They were good, especially for the price. However, the chicken was just pan fried not really flavorful. But I would try one again with a different meat next time. I'm just partial to chicken."

"Ran into this cafe randomly and they had such different varieties of food, I'm excited to try out their other dishes. We got Ramen birria noodles and a chorizo & papas plate! Delicious and the service was fantastic!!!!!"
