"This was my first time trying Annkello Kahawa, and the vibe was so cute. I can definitely see myself doing a work-from-home session here while sipping on some amazing matcha. I went for the strawberry matcha paired with a guava muffin. The matcha was spot-on—clearly ceremonial grade—and the muffin hit the perfect balance of sweetness. Plus, the croissant part was insanely buttery. The service there was great. I was greeted at the door and even though it was pretty busy I didn’t wait very long for my Order."

"Im not one to order matcha, but I have heard so much about AnnKello from my coworkers that I had decided this would be the place to do it and I’m glad I did! Met up here with a friend on a Monday morning so the shop was relatively quiet- a little rush of take out orders but for the most part not too noisy. We could easy have conversation and enjoy the music. I know it gets busy and the space is pretty small so if you’re there during a rush or weekend it’s probably going to feel crowded. We each got a matcha, blueberry and strawberry and they were both so delicious! Also every drink that they put out actually looked like the photos- we love an aesthetically pleasing drink! We sat at the bar and watched them meticulously make every drink and everyone who was working was so nice not just to us but every person- asking them about their preferences, explaining the drinks, and offering to adjust anything. No one ever adjusted anything though lol. While I’m not a matcha drinkers I thought it was a nice little sweet treat. I enjoyed it and I would probably get the blueberry again if I was doing something iced. I got the AnnKello Kahawa hot as it comes and that was delicious- so smooth and perfect to take outside in the cold. For food, I had the breakfast sliders that they collaborate with OmgBurger next door for and they were so good. Egg, cheese, and add bacon (halal). No pictures because I inhaled them!"

"Great, I mean AMAZING Matcha! The best strawberry matcha I’ve had in the city. The vibes are also great- good music playlist, limited seating but if you’re willing to wait it’s a cool spot to sip and chill. The owner came over to chat and was super nice. I highly recommend this spot!"

"I can’t say enough good things about this Tanzanian coffee and matcha shop! Collin was absolutely wonderful! He was so sweet, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about his shop. He took the time to share a bit about the history of Tanzania and his love for it, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The staff was great!! Now, LET ME TELL YOU…I am not a matcha person at all—I usually hate it—BUT … their matcha completely changed my mind! We tried the signature AnnKello Kahawa Latte, Strawberry Matcha, and an iced chocolate cookie dough latte, plus a few pastries, and every single thing was a solid 10 out of freaking 10! The flavors were perfectly balanced, rich, and so unique. This place has officially ruined other coffee shops for me because nothing else compares. The drinks, the vibe-the aesthetic, and the service were all incredible. Hands down the best coffee and matcha I’ve ever had! Highly, highly recommend checking out AnnKello Kahawa Coffee Bar! "Absolute 10/10!!! This is such an inspiring story of a mobile coffee cart opening a business in such a busy and central location but the owners did an amazing job of maintaining the quality of coffee and service. I tried many of the previously “mkello” drinks and they were so good but it’s crazy to see how they are exactly the same in store too. The matcha is weighed out exactly on a scale each time and the coffee is such good quality with such unique syrups. Definitely try it out if you’re in the area, it’s worth the wait! Only issue is drinks are a little pricey but once in a while it’s not problem."
