"First time dining at Hudson House and we loved it. We visited the Rice Village location, where our server Brian was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with a red wine blend and a spicy margarita with freshly made jalapeño salt on the rim, which had the perfect level of heat. We also had the pressed tuna sushi, which was exceptionally fresh and full of flavor. For our mains, we chose the Texas redfish, flown in fresh and perfectly prepared, along with the French chicken. Even though the portions were generous, we could not resist dessert and tried both the key lime pie and the chocolate silk pie. The key lime pie was hands down the best we have ever had. We had heard about some low star reviews, but we are quite picky and thought the overall experience delivered great food and excellent value. We will definitely be back."

"Great atmosphere, delicious foods, some plates where missing some items like no wasabi with the sushi rolls, and noticed on a few tables the servers don’t drop the silverware before the dish so us, and a few other tables with different servers had to wait 2-3 mins after plate has hit the table so a lot of people were looking at the food and or a server to drop silverware, we had oysters and didn’t have napkins or side plates to eat from the main dish, so had to make a little mess as well wipe oysters water on my clothing from holding the oysters. And even when our plates landed took a few mins to get the rolled silverware with napkins, as with other tables we observed when getting food. Food was delicious as well the atmosphere, just think the napkin silverware thing is a choice by the restaurant maybe because most of the servers and tables where doing the same thing when plates landed on the tables. But everything else was great!"

"Really nice ambience! Food was good/mid. Lobster roll was okay. Husband loved the tuna rolls. Spicy popcorn was good! They forgot to serve the dipping sauce - until I read the menu it was supposed to come with the dipping sauce. Waiter wasn’t really interactive. He was nice tho. The fries were my favorite!"

"I went here 12/18 and sat at the bar….for 15 minutes. No one checked on me, no one glanced my way to see if I needed anything. I’ve been to other restaurants and this by far was the most annoying experience I’ve had. It wasn’t until I waved a young lady down (when I finally got her attention) and asked could I have a simple water and could someone service me because I haven’t been greeted yet. She did the general apology and retrieved a menu and a water. Despite that, the service here was terrible at the bar. I have no experienced service at a table! However, the food was great! I also ordered a white wine, since they didn’t have the Sauvignon Blanc. I wish I knew the name, but it was so crisp and refreshing. I’m not sure if I’ll come back physically due to my initial experience, but I’ll definitely order and recommend to others regarding the cuisine."

"Had the best service experience with Karina she was kind and well educated on the menu. Karina recommended the popcorn shrimp as an appetizer tasted great with the truffle honey mustard and our sushi and burger were great recommendations as well thank you Karina!"
