What People Are Saying
from Google"Just the most beautiful place to grab cute photos with your friends or kids. We always have the best time at Matcha Mia and the service is always a 10/10! I can’t recommend this place enough. The food is delicious and the banana matcha is a family favorite. You need to come out! 🍵✨💖"
"Matcha Mia is such a gem. Their matcha is imported from Fukuoka, and you can really taste the difference, smooth, nutty, and just naturally delicious without needing a ton of sugar. It’s honestly the best I’ve had, and I even bought some to keep at home for those mornings when I can’t make it in. What surprised me the most were their food options, the smoothies are super refreshing and creative, and the sandwiches are fresh, flavorful, and way better than your typical coffee shop grab-and-go. But what makes this place stand out most is the people. The staff is amazing! They are warm, welcoming, and always so kind. You can tell they genuinely care about every person who walks in. The whole vibe is relaxed, fun, and full of good energy. Houston really needed a spot like Matcha Mia. It is the kind of place you go once and immediately want to come back to!"
"What a lovely spot! I came here to celebrate my birthday and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was beautiful, aesthetically pleasing in every way, and the staff was so kind and welcoming. I’m so glad I discovered this place through TikTok; it truly lived up to the hype. Definitely worth the money, and I hope they expand with more locations because this is exactly what Houston needs!"
"I drove all the way from Austin just to finally try Matcha Mia, and wow… it was absolutely worth it. I ordered the classic matcha with oat milk and monkfruit, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best matcha I’ve ever had. You can actually taste the matcha. It’s smooth and vibrant with that soft umami flavor that good ceremonial matcha has. No bitterness at all, just clean, bright green tea flavor. The sweetness from the monkfruit didn’t cover anything up and let the matcha shine. It tasted like something made with real care, not just thrown together. The texture was velvety and balanced, not too thick or watery. I took my first sip and literally said “oh my god” out loud. If you’re a matcha person, this is the place. I’d drive the three hours again in a heartbeat!!"
"I went to Matcha Mia and loved the aesthetic and vibe. The menu has such a great variety of drinks and simple dishes. I got the strawberry horchata matcha and I would suggest getting it with oat milk. Overall it was a great experience!"
