"👍 This is conveniently located in the Downtown Tunnels and easily accessible on foot. 👍 The kolaches tasted normal, and were exactly what you'd expect. 👎 However, about half of them looked more like plain hot dogs 🌭 (see photo). 👍 This location offers some kolache varieties I haven’t seen at other branches, which was a nice surprise. 👎 That said, the place seems to be doing well enough not to care about customer service. I waited at the register for over 5 minutes and wasn't even acknowledged. So, I left and got breakfast somewhere else... a place that actually wanted my business. 👎 From an earlier visit, the employee looked like she didn’t want to be there at all."

"When in Houston, the only place to get doughnuts is Shipley’s. On National Donut Day, the line was long. Regardless, the cashier never lost her kindness. Hot and fresh. Easy to get to in the tunnels. Wide selection- not just doughnuts."

"This location has the absolute worst service of any Shipley's I've ever been to and I've been to nearly all of them in Houston. Always unfriendly, they prioritize delivery app orders over the people standing in front of them. In fact, they completely ignore you and just keep working on the other orders. Today, I arrived at 6:05 am. They open at 5:00 am and the gate was still down and they were only working on delivery orders, completely ignoring the 10+ people standing out front of them. Terrible service. They will not get my money anymore."
