from Google & Yelp"We decided to try Roasted N Toasted Subs after seeing it in passing and finally stopping by. We later learned they had recently gone viral, which explained the unexpectedly long wait. We placed our order around 12:30 PM and didn’t receive our food until about 3:00 PM. By 2:00 PM, they had already run out of some meats and bread, which made it seem like they may have been understaffed for the volume of customers. I was overcharged by 5 sandwiches which she later caught and took care of. Thank you. We even left to do some grocery shopping and still waited another 30 minutes after returning. Given the delay, it would have been nice if a meal was comped or something offered while waiting. By the time we finally received our food, the kids were so hungry they ate it immediately. That said, the paninis were really good, though they forgot to add the oil and vinegar. Despite the long wait, I would still come back—just definitely call ahead next time. Parking is right off the main road, and they have decent seating inside."
"I’m from out of town and was in Killeen on a job and needed somewhere to eat. Decided to try this place and DEFINITELY do not regret it!!! They are most definitely not stingy with the portions! I ordered an Italian panini (and added some extra toppings) and a Lavender lemonade and it all tasted AMAZING!!! The shop is very cute and quaint and the workers are very sweet! Next time I’m in Killeen for work I will 100% be returning"
"I went last week and I was disappointed but my brother wasn't. So I got a large meatball sub with their Mozzarella. Now for me the looks was questionable as I asked for lettuce but I seemed to have gotten a light Garnish of it, but looking at the amount meatball would make up for it? These meatballs to me felt like store bought and Bland tasting to add one sub was toasted as the other wasn't to me was kind of confusing during the first bite. I understand it's family owned and not fast food, it wasn't busy, but it took a great amount of time to be made. But for my brother sandwich he got medium sub pork lion with pepper jack and Jalapenos now his looked delicious and he said the pork lion was tender and rich and he enjoyed how they pulled it apart like pulled pork. But he wants to go another time If I go I'm staying away from the meatball subs."
"Super friendly people. Portion sizes are humongous. I got the large sub and it was only for 12 bucks. And it had ham and turkey. I kept comparing it to my Pringles can. That is how round and big it was. And it was fresh even though I was unable to eat it as soon as I purchased it because I was headed to the airport which is almost 3 hours away... It was well worth the weight..."
"Staff is friendly and patient with me as I order 3 different sandwiches. They are worth the prize. Sorry I took my sandwiches apart. The panini person likes there sandwiche plain. This is the way the sandwich should be. Puts subway, Jimmy John and Jersey Mike to shame. Go check them out. I don't give 5 stars. They deserved it."
"I was driving down Rancier one day when I saw this sandwich shop. When I looked them up and saw that they are roasting their own meats I knew I had to try..."
