from Google & Yelp"Came for the first time today after seeing a friend post about it on TikTok. It was soo delicious. I tried the Horchata Latte and my niece got their seasonal drink, the Vampire Frappe. We also had the strawberry croissant and it was real good.. not too sweet. Definitely kid friendly place. They have a little area with toys and coloring pages and crayons available for them. My 3 year old loved it. I will definitely be coming back."
"I recently started going to this coffee shop when I visit my family in La Porte. I love the atmosphere, it’s so comfy here. And they have seasonal decorations up, so fun! I always have to order the Dubai croissant, and the mango croissant! Just amazing and fresh, great snacks. I’m obsessed with their mocha latte and have tried everything they have with chocolate, just delicious!"
"One of the coolest spots to visit for some of the best matcha in town! Friendly staff, food is great and love that they decorate for every occasion. Its a must to stop by, you won’t regret it 😋"
"My friend and I enjoy coming to Deja-brew regularly! The drinks are always yummy, the space and atmosphere is super cozy and the customer service is nice and quick. We got the Oreo pumpkin iced latte and the Cookie Crisp iced latte 10/10 would recommend :)"
"I’ve been wanting to try this cafe for a while. I’m always in La Porte and just never had the time to stop. I stopped because I saw some of these reviews and I had to try it. They have a full menu a huge menu. I didn’t even know what to order, but I tried the coquito matcha and then I tried one of their desserts, the strawberry cream croissant wow that was delicious. The staff was super nice. I sat there and experienced the way they treated the other customers as they walked in and I did not see any kind of rudeness from any of them. I got back up and ordered an Atole de arroz and that was delicious as well. So back to the review that Ms Christina left Writing paragraphs to justify a brief inconvenience comes off less like honesty and more like bruised entitlement. Businesses run by humans sometimes have delays, turning that into a character attack on the owner and staff is excessive. Also, claiming everyone else agrees because of a “quick scroll” doesn’t make it factual, it just shows confirmation bias. Forgetting keys and opening late isn’t horrible customer service, dragging it online because things didn’t go exactly as expected is. At some point, it’s okay to accept that a situation didn’t cater to you and move on instead of doubling down. This reads petty no matter how many times you insist it isn’t. What makes this even harder to take seriously is that no food or drinks were actually ordered or tried. Leaving a negative review for a cafe you were “recommended” but never experienced beyond a brief interaction says more about expectations than service. Reviews are meant to reflect products and service received, not assumptions or frustration when things don’t go exactly as planned. If you didn’t try the menu, it’s not an honest review of the cafe. It’s just commentary. She didn’t even taste the menu, got upset over a minor delay, and decided that’s reason enough to downgrade the cafe. That’s not feedback, that’s pure pettiness."
