The casual and unassuming atmosphere immediately made us feel at home, and it was heartwarming to see a thriving family-owned business. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming vibe. The menu features classic American-style brunch fare with portions that satisfies any appetite. I ordered the "Hot Mess Bowl" and a waffle loaded with all the toppings. The Hot Mess Bowl was a hearty mix of biscuits, bacon, sausage, eggs, and hash browns, all smothered in country gravy—it was absolutely delicious and incredibly filling. The waffle was soft and delectable, topped with a mountain of whipped cream and fresh strawberries. It felt like a delightful dessert on the side! My wife chose the "Big Breakfast," which included three perfectly cooked eggs, crispy hash browns, country gravy, bacon, and two sweet cream pancakes nearly overflowing from the plate. "We stopped in on a very busy Saturday between soccer games. My daughter had the French toast and love it! My son has the breakfast bowl and said “I could eat this every single day”. I had avocado toast with egg, and it was fresh! It was worth the time it took to wait for a table. We would totally return if in the area again. I asked our server if she understood the Bible verse on the wall. She said she didn’t, but she shared that the owner lost her child and that the restaurant is a tribute to him. I really loved that she shared that with us. It also gave my kids the chance to see the connection to the verse—the “oaks of righteousness”—and understand how meaningful it is. It’s such a powerful verse and a beautiful opportunity to share the gospel with people who come in."

"They had me at Jalapeño cheese grits!!! All food ordered was enjoyed by everyone! Brown sugar cinnamon pancakes, bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich, and the quiche were the big winners! Service was great and this rounded out our Houston trip!"
