"Went to watch a soccer game in Lewisville and had some time to kill before the game. Decided to try out State 28 for lunch. Every dish we had was fantastic. We had the Cajun pasta, brisket grilled cheese, brisket Mac and cheese, and the appetizer was spinach artichoke dip. The portion sizes were pretty big. The server was very friendly and answered any questions we had. This is a nice and clean establishment."

"We came in on a Monday night. A few people in there, not crowded. We left before Musical Bingo, but sounded fun. Chill atmosphere on that night, though I imagine weekends and nights with live music are a bit rowdier. We had a caesar salad and bang bang shrimp. Both were good. Peyton was out server and was great. Attentive, but gave us space. We'd love to come try out a busier night but a nice simple meal after a long day was just perfect."
